The breeze blew with a cool shroud chill across the quietly humming outdoor porch of the Gridanian forest cafe. The tall Hyur blonde carefully lowered her teacup back to the surface of the table; freshly manicured fingers remained gently wrapped around the cup for the measure of warmth it offered. Carmined-red lips offered a soft smile: everything seemed to be conspiring to rewind her of the Shroud she knew. With a little rustle she unfolded the morning flyer. If she was going to be away from home she may as well follow the news! Lips pursed as she read the headline. "Oh Kiht Kat will just love this..." she thought. With another sip of tea she began to read the article in earnest, finding the trip suddenly a little more interesting!

Edit: I don't want to start an off topic convo! I'll just say that was well said Edda! Confessions: I do screen patrons at the Quick Sand trying to pick out RPers, because I can't get to everyone and would rather prioritize those who will enjoy it. I try not to spend too much time talking to friends while barmaiding, but sometimes I just cannot help it. I often feel bad when people come by to see me at the Quicskand and end up waiting for a while because I am tending to customers. I am sometimes mistaken for someone looking for ERP rather than "just a barmaid" as one such patron once put it - but probably much less often than you think! I am pretty good at just smiling and nodding when encountering something unbelievable or immersion breaking. I love meeting new people, this may not sound like a confession but it is really true! I really enjoy it when people are convinced that Aya is just a smiling bubbly blonde! I like to stand around in Ul'dah when I don't feel like barmaiding to see if anyone comes up to me to RP. It happens sometimes, but not often. For whatever reason, it is far more successful when she is sitting at her favorite bench! I often prefer to RP in made up settings such as cafes and tea houses, because I feel like the areas provided to us in Ul'dah do not well capture the day-to-day life of a non-adventurer like Aya. The only thing I like more than receiving a new rumor on my wiki, is writing one for someone else. Especially if it is amusing, pithy, or just is darn characteristic !

As was mentioned, transferring is the best way to get to Balmung these days ^^

The off duty barmaid canted her head slightly to the side. Long strands of hair rather haphazardly fell down her shoulder as she cast a smiling near-giggle toward the Lalafel. "You, uh, don't know 'tea' really?" she asked rather incredulously. "You make it by steeping tea leaves in boiling water. It is a little bit bitter, but nothing at all like ale or wine! You should try some, it can help perk you up a little in the morning!" She added with a grin.

The only times I do is when dealing with a non-native speaker who has expressed an interest in improving his English skills. Otherwise I may notice, but rarely comment on it

Kind of leaves an empty kind of feeling doesn't it? That's part of why I really don't care for it

I find teleportation both immersion weakening and overall a big negative on the kind of characters and stories I tend to find interesting. Teleportation trivializes much of the difficulties faced by normal people, and kind of changes the overall dynamic of the story in ways that undermine the more human and relatable storylines that I tend to focus on. Not to say that I have never teleported at the behest of another player; I just basically ignore it as an option until someone else literally makes it happen.

That will work just a general head shot, mainly just for hairstyle purposes, and any facial markings (scars moles etc.) Nothing of the sort, and wearing the Samus hairstyle! The only thing I can think to mention is that she has blonde eyebrows, which might effect shading

Is there anything particular that you are looking for? Are you going to use the same angle and stuff for your sketch? I only have like a million of them Here's one I just took the other day!

Fast, inconsistent, and relaxed! Probably no fun to be behind! And she totally flirts with the cops, even if she doesn't realize she's doing it!
