I love that! The serpent wings/tails and skin really tie into it beautifully. I'd like to see you pursue something like this further.

Kerr actually has quite a bit of family left alive in the world. Not that he knows about them yet. He has two daughters of his own, that he's never officially met. One would be 10; the other around 8-9. His father (unknown to Kerr) is still living and produced two other sons. And I'm leaving "cousin" open for any other extended family or PC family that pops up.

I just made an account this morning, though I'm having a bit of trouble with it. I'll have to look deeper into it-- Might be a good place for both this /and/ a regular journal, but I'm not 100%. What I'm concerned about is keeping the main RP quest entries open and accessable. While I like the idea of having them organized by time, I feel like depending on how many quests you would have up, some would get archived, and in general it wouldn't be too easy for another usuer to peruse for interactive quests-- if that makes any lick of sense >.> I don't think it will be accessible to the general public (as in they can post/update/sign up for quests) but it could prove a good place to post them. I'm looking into making several pages for Kerr's info and maybe quest logs now! General info and things. And then have his journal too. I'll keep you updated on how's it's going for me. I'll probably start tweaking the actual page sometime today.

Have you looked into something like Wordpress? I don't know it it would fufill all of your needs, but check it out? That's the route I plan to (eventually) go with Kerr.

Using Kerr as an example: He is half Seeker, half Hyur (since I heard at some point that it was possible). But he has a completely different reason for not following the naming conventions of any tribe. His mother lived away from any tribe she might have belonged to and never spoke of them. When she died, he lost all knowledge of that culture (other than outside sources). So, as long as you have a valid reason for them/him? not to follow those traditions, you can definitely run with it. He doesn't have to be half something else as long as there is a good reason for it.

Kerr (who is a guy) is considered bisexual by an extremely small margin. He greatly prefers men in his romantic relationships and tends to fall for them faster emotionally. With women, he forms very strong attachments. And while he can (/cough) 'participate' in bed with a woman, he finds them emotionally frightening. Every woman from his past that he has loved has died a violent death -- two he considers himself responsible for. He tends to feel that women bring more trouble to him than they are overall worth, yet he can never turn them away when they need help as women have shaped most of his life. However, due to his complex, it is difficult for him to form deep, lasting relationships with them. IE: they get friend-zoned a lot. It would take a very extraordinary woman to hold his heart long enough to have him commit to a formal relationship.

I believe (not sure) that the majority of the players that were on Balamung at the end of 1.0 had been with the game long enough by then that most had mid-high lvl ranging characters, if that is what you're asking. A large portion of us on the forums never got to play 1.0, so there will be a ton of us to start the game fresh with you.
