I work Overnights on an est time table, so I am up all night.

I personally enjoyed 1&2 more then 3&NV. I liked the more classical turn based rpg then the shift to action rpg. Someone did bring up Tactics. which that and there was a Brotherhood of Steel game(might have been same game), just straight avoid those. I am, one to always pick the weird wastelands and max luck stuff.

I will gladly run into either of you.

So I have done a bit of a revision to my character recently as an attempt to get into more rp but as it is I have been such a hermit and a lurker I know no one. So here is that cliched post of looking for people to rp with. I tend to lurk around feeling too awkward to interrupt anyone and butt in. Also, wish to myself I could make the weekly stuff. Matahina the Seaturtle an Adventuring Scholar, equal parts monster slayer, treasure hunter and researcher (Someone has to visit all those strange places and write about them). She will gladly take on a range of work from sellsword to research assistant to instructor. Side Note I should get around to revamping the wiki a bit.

So I think the important question will be if people are going to finish previous sales. I know I still got a couple out there I am still waiting on.

“Are you asking for more of a party for this? I am afraid you would have to supply the guests. No one I know is in the area right now.” Matahina said leaning forward. “Unless it is that you are suggesting something else for the occasion?”

“Never go half way, always go all in.” Matahina said before returning to her seat once more. She seemed to visibly relax more once she did, sitting ever so slightly in a more slumped position. “Even then there is a few things I cannot help.”

“Secret, I am not keeping any secrets, you just need to ask. What just happened is just as I said happened, a solidification of our deal.” Matahina said as she took her flask back. She pressed the flask to her lips and tossed back the liquid inside before capping it once more and returning it to its home in her pouch.

Matahina shrugged. “I believe we just shook hands and struck a deal of me training you.” She put plainly. “Just know I am not one to go back on my deals, nor is it wise to break them as well.”

Matahina was the one to first release the shake and with it burst disappeared returning to the calmness that was her. “We still have time till we could use the field, and I promised you a drink.” She said as she fumbled around with a pouch on her belt before procuring a flask. The flask was polished silver with a small engraving of a turtle on it. She offered it, the grin on her face turning to a friendly smile.

Matahina gripped the hand firmly with the shake. As she did her aura seemed to burst into a storm that any could feel. Even though her face did not change nor did her stance. “Well first thing is first. I will have to see what I am working with and I am not meaning the sloppy tired work I saw when I first came through.”

Matahina stood up straight to her full height and gave off an aura of calmness. A grin appeared on her face as the rest of her face held calmness. Her eyes focused into a gaze that seemed to pierce through their target. She slid her left hand behind her back then extended her right hand. “I hope your stubbornness holds then.”

“Power over valor, the ability to crush those weaker then you rather then protect the weak or Best defense is a strong offense. Seems to me you have already set on this path for failing on the other.” Matahina leaned forward placing a gauntlet hand on the table. “Alright, I can help you but be forewarned I am not an easy instructor when it comes to the path of power.”

“Is that it, the need to find power, to find purpose?” Matahina said, the smile almost appearing on her face. “I can help you there, though; most find they already had a purpose. As for power…” She trailed off as she stood up. “That is fully dependent on how far you want to go. Are you sure that is what is missing and not something that is in the past?”

“Don’t worry about it you are not imposing.” Matahina said putting on a warm smile. “You should be a bit clearer when it comes to seeking an instructor and besides I did say advice is what I do. All that training I would have thought you already had one.”

“Teacher, eh, I did not know this was turning into an interview for such. Here I was just passing through and figured I would disarm a situation.” Matahina said rubbing the back of her neck. “Though you would not be the first disciple I have had. However, you would be the first in this field of study.” She said the last part musing to herself. “If you must know I do a lot of wandering and my fighting style is varied. So I don’t know if you are looking for something more focused.”

“You should be training however you please. I am just questioning to better understand.” Matahina said as she placed her catch next to the door then slid a chair out to give her room to sit down across from the other woman. “And judging from the lack of personal effects, you are not allowing for those distractions either or you don’t plan on being around long.”

“The order is a small free company based out of Ul’dah. I do not blame you for not hearing about it. It is my position as well as ward within the order to find my own path and aide others in blazing their own trail. So yes, fishing and giving advice is what I do.” Matahina gave a small laugh at the last part she said. As they entered, she unlatched her heavy cloak, letting it fall open. “While it might be quieter here, you will have to become a hermit if you do not want to share or build your own.”

“Sthalwif, eh, I am Matahina Umugame Pathfinder Warden of the Order of the Compass.” She said stopping long enough to give a slight bow. “You can shorten it however you want or even call me by any name that pleases you. Are you fresh blood in these holdings or just here for the scenery to destroy with your wild swings?”

“I am a long ways from making this delivery and the cold air keeps it fresh, anyways, so do not worry about that.” Matahina said before scanning the area once more before turning and walking towards the lodgings. Her foots steps making an audible noise of her armor now that she walked on paved road.

Matahina gave a nod in acknowledgement of the knight’s bow before looking at the line up. She once again readjusted the sack on her shoulder as the noises of the exercise filled the air. Her gaze returned to the other woman with her outburst. “Knowing when to swing your axe is just as important as swinging it.” Matahina said with a friendly tone. “And swinging it once more here would have most likely resulted in not swinging it again for a long while. I’ll buy you a drink, as you still owe me an answer or I can part and you can attempt to disassemble this holding.”
