  1. Watched the group trying to decide what to do. His first instinct was to jump into action. But them some images of his friends swam into his mind as he imagined what the would say. Arvic would yell at him for rushing in without a plan, while Xax would definitely chew him out for trying to go it alone again. He looked back to the fighting still considering running while he continued to imagine his friends reactions. Nanarou would definitely whack him over the head and say ("Why didn't ye call me for help, ye dumb furball.") When he watched the Ixal move towards the people he just met it drove his reasoning out of his mind, now wasn't the time for thinking it was time for action. Jumping out of the tree he grabbed the claws he had on the side of his belt and charged. Deciding that the healer was the one that would need the most protection S'imba placed himself in between her and the group of Ixal that were moving towards her. As the adrenalin pumped through his veins he gave a smirk, he wasn't afraid, he was in his element now.
  2. S'imba's story has a lot to do with him being addicted to a drug that's used to control him if your interested. I've got quite a bit of background on it I could give you if you are interested.
  3. S'imba's supposed to have a bounty on him if you guys are looking for something.
  4. He's not insane he's just a complex individual.
  5. S'imba sat in silence as he watched the others work he climbing into a nearby tree to get a better view of the surrounding area. He couldn't help but feel a slight tinge of guilt while the others were working to get the wagons back on the the road. When he saw the girl simply just run off he nearly gave chase curious to where she was going. When the Hyur instead went after her he yawned and went back to watching the others work. It still felt eerie as he sat in his tree, he couldn't shake the feeling they were being watched. He continued to scan the surrounding area looking for any sign of danger. Suddenly he shivered as it seemed all noise in the forest had stopped then his ears perked up to a sound that he knew all to well, one of the very sounds he had been running from. The sound of blood hungry steel leaving it's sheathe. It was faint but his Miqo'te ears picked them up all the same and it was still unmistakable. He looks up in horror as the hoard of Ixali fell on the group.
  6. I think mine should be pretty obvious Matthew Broderick.
  7. The worst part is I finally found my swim wear voucher so S'imba finally would have been able to model properly.
  8. Sounds like the events of that rp last night have really tied up Roen's free time. ...that was a terrible pun and Im sorry. As for the opening, Depending on how late Im at work tonight, Ill try to come by. Hey it happens S'imba ended tied to a bed one night and it wasn't even in a sexual way...had to wait for someone to come untie him the next day.
  9. As everyone eagerly jumped off to help S'imba hesitated being stopped in the middle of a busy road didn't seem like a a good a idea to him. He'd been gone long enough that someone must have noticed by now and if that was the case someone would surely be on his trail by now. He'd come to far to be drug back to Ul'dah. The thought of that made his heart sink. As he climbed off the wagon he looked back down the road. How long would it take for someone to catch him? He looked toward the debris and the eager volunteers helping to clear it. He started towards them his imagination running wild what would happen to him if they caught him. Eventually the image of him being drug back with a chain around his collar this thought would prove to be too much for the young miqo'te he would not be degraded like that. Waiting until no one was looking he slipped into the trees. He'd wait here until the road was clear then if anyone came he'd slip away if not well he'd jump back on the caravan.
  10. S'imba felt the firm grip and jumped a little in surprised to feel the warm reassuring grip on his shoulder. It gave him a feeling of safety that things would work out. He returned the smile to her and giving a sigh. "Thanks." He says softly he still had a feeling of tightness in his chest from the anxiety but that would pass once they made it further away. "I guess things just haven't gone in my favor very often and it tends to make it hard to have hope." He says remembering recent events wishing things could have gone different. "Your both familiar with this place." He said. "Is there anything I need to know about it?"
  11. "I can only hope" S'imba replies before once again glancing back toward Thanalan as if expecting someone to be persuing him. Now that he thought about it he realized it had been to easy. He now became a little more restless and shifted in his seat tapping his finger on his leg. Trying to take his mind off of it he returns his attention back to the female momentarily before going silent trying to stave off his growing paranoia.
  12. The lalafell's words struck S'imba harder then he expected. He looked back toward the city a frown breaking his face. He didn't bother introducing himself he had assumed he would have heard his name. He looked back to the lalafell his ears falling slightly. "Third time?" He asks "What are you running from?" He was always to nosy for his own good and was hoping the answer would be different enough from his own flight he would be able to take comfort that his chances would be slightly better.
  13. Smiles softly as he turns his head to listen to the other voices in the caravan reflecting on her words. "Arcanima" He asks not knowing very much about magic. He looks forward toward where they were going. "I'm just trying to escape Ul'dah mostly." he remarks looking to his wrists examining the scars that remained there. Quickly shifting his hands trying to hide them from any prying eyes. He didn't want to draw any attention to what he was running from. Still it was impossible to hide the collar that was bolted around his neck. At this thought he couldn't stop himself reaching up and touching it wondering how he was going to get it off, once he was officially safe. He then goes continues "I can fight I want to become an adventurer see the world." He looks around again thinking about the stories he's heard about it and everything in it. "I don't think I could be more excited!"
  14. I would love to get out and do more active things and get involved in more misadventure.
  15. S'imba gave a little grin as she jumped in surprise before leaning forward a little and resting his arms on his legs, assuming a posture to listen to her words better. "Nice to meet you Shia, I'm S'imba" he would reply. Then looking around to the scenery around him he looked back to her. "This is the first the I've ever seen a forest. I've heard about it from the adventurers who come to the quicksand though I'd never believed it would be this amazing." He would say eyes beaming with excitement and face breaking into a childish grin. He could barely sit still the more he talked the more excited he was to be here in the Shroud. He looked back towards Thanalan and what he was leaving behind he turns back to her tears of joy in his eyes. "I'm so happy to finally escape that place!" He said before wiping his eyes dry. He then looked to the staff she was holding and looking to her in amazement. "Are you a healer?" He would ask he always had a great respect to those who knew how to mend a broken body. "Are you going to become a white mage?" He was always to curious for his own good.
  16. Leans forward taking a more careful examination of individuals that seemed to stand out to him. The two Hyur who were engaged in conversation. Then he returns his attention to the female Miqo'te. Noticing her white hands he stares at her a moment taking in her overall appearance before asking. "Are you all right?" Even though he knew better then to draw attention to himself. He never could stand to see anyone in distress and not do something.
  17. S'imba couldn't help but smile to himself as he sat on the seat of the caravan. He had no idea what had possessed him to jump on right before it was about to leave. He had been terrified that he someone would have discovered what he was doing and that he would end up being drug back to Ul'dah and continue living that unending nightmare. Miraculously he had made it to the Shroud he had looked to a few of the other passengers nodding at the ones who made eye contact with him, before turning his attention to look at the forest surrounding him. He had never seen anything like it before in his life, the cool air felt against his skin was a welcome change to the punishing sun of Thanalan. He admired the trees around him amazed that anything could grow that big. He gave a sigh of satisfaction before sitting back and listening to the small tidbits of conversation the other passengers were occasionally having. Things were finally looking up for young S'imba.
  18. Well I'm always happy to meet new people so I'll say hi or you can just come up to me if your looking for someone to play with.
  19. Just got to say I was going to reply to this thread and say to ask Gus for a job! :surprise:
  20. Thanks I'll remember you guys.
  21. Just wanted to congratulate you on how successful this has been so far. Considering all the work you've put into it to make it as real as possible. Speaking of which would it be possible to get post a list of the employees and what jobs they have? Just curious since haven't met everyone yet and just would like to know who's who.
  22. So if he were faced with multiple opponents he could hold his own to an extent. Despite his youth he is a competent fighter. As he would have finally escaped Thanalan he would be unwilling to surrender so he would either need to be incapacitated by magic and taken prisoner, be forced to surrender if someone else's life were threatened, or just overpowered because they have the intent to kidnap him. Under ideal circumstances he could take n quite a few opponents but more than likely he would be exhausted from running so he wouldn't be able to fight anywhere near as effectively. Honestly it would just come down to what he was up against. Edit* I was wondering when you were thinking of doing this just to give me a heads up for if you need me.
  23. My character is highly skilled in hand to hand combat, though he doesn't have a whole lot of experience at dealing with magic. In fact even the white magics make him nervous.
