Another thing I'd like to add which is somewhat related to this topic. I actually hope that people will roleplay outside of that one special roleplay town hub. I've seen this happen a bit too much in FFXIV and in GW2. In FFXIV's case, it was Ul'dah where everyone seemed to linger at. GW2 had a town called Divinity's reach where everyone stuck mostly to roleplays inside of bars. I was lucky to have found a guild that wandered from one location to the next and organized events/parties that other roleplayers joined. And honestly I prefered it way more than being stuck to the same old town/city.

This is simply to amazing for words! How you people manage to draw so many quality drawings in such a short time always baffles me. Then again, I know it simply comes from years of experience.

I actually saw the private roleplay happen a lot in Balmung. Like seeing two or more people in uldah who I knew they were roleplaying from talking to them in /tell or linkshell chat. But they rarely talked in /say. And no, they weren't erping or something. Hopefully this won't happen as much for ARR.

Well...I'm sold! I'm just loving the diversity of all the regions and music. And got to love all the teases placed throughout the video. Also...swimsuits!

I've been keeping an eye on this thread for quite some time. And I just wanted to say how awesome your drawing and inking style is. All I can say is, keep those drawings coming!

Name: Ronberku Vantarius Profession: Blacksmith / Gladiator Height: Quite tall for a male elezen. Body: Clear visibly toned muscles that leans more towards muscular than toned. Due to many years working at a forge and carrying all his creations around to be sold. He also has broader shoulders than the average elezen. Quick example I made in the past. Still needs to be longer more elezen like. Hair: Dark half long hair, which is often pulled back and tied up together behind his head and shoulders. When loose, his hair reaches down his neck to between his shoulders. Eyes: Golden, which often causes people to think he's an evil man or angry. Only wears glasses when reading books or small letters. Othwerwise he has good eyesight. Skin: A healthy brown/caramel skin tone. Scars: One diagonal scar on each of his cheeks. Clothing: Ronberku is often seen in towns wearing his trademark white shirt, red pants and thigh-high black boots. While his hands are usually covered by a pair of black gloves. Otherwise he likes to wear all kind of matching shirts and pants Personality: Laid back, flirty, tend to come off as arrogant Images and drawings

Welcome to the RPC! And also a happy birthday! At least I see it is on the bottom of the main forum page. Hopefully I'm not sorely mistaken.

Ronberku is unemployed. He makes a living through either selling his crafted weapons (and occasional armors) or through random jobs and accepting quests. Ron is not the type to seek a fixed employement. He cares too much for his own personal freedom to be tied to an organisation.

I tend to try and stick as much as possible to the ingame classes/jobs. Ronberku had quite a few changes between blacksmith and gladiator over his growing years. He started as a blacksmith at a young age due to his parents running a smith. Before joining a squad and changing to learning the ways of the sword(gladiator). Only to end up taking both blacksmithing and gladiator. Although he tends to prefer using only a sword and no shield. He will still use a shield if he needs to prepare going into a battle. So I guess he leans more towards a fencer. That said, if ninja ever is implemented. I'll be sure to find some way or excuse to make him learn it. But blacksmithing is something that is set in stone for him and will always be there.

Well this certainly sucks for me. I really think I have the worst luck ever when it comes to FF online related stuff lol. I finally updated my wiki profile with my character's background and quick timeline. And now all my hard work is gone. And I didn't even make a back-up of it anywhere orz... Oh well, c'est la vie. Time to start writing all over again. And do it more properly this time. Just to clarify, I'm not blaming anyone here(besides the one that decided to hack this place.) The rollback was inevitable and I should have at least saved my text when I was done.

Welcome! And I did not expect elezen roleplayers to be so rare. I expected female ones to be rare but males kinda surprise me. Hopefully this will change with ARR. Although with more race/gender choices...

I'm still working on creating Ronberku's wiki profile. But his parents died with the destruction of Ala Mhigo. It's basically an important part of his life and how he came to be the man he is today. And he also doesn't have any brothers or sisters. I didn't really think far enough to include cousins and grandparents. Although I simply pretend that his grandparents died either of old age or in some battle. But basically Ron is without relatives.

It's been a while and I honestly almost forgot about this site. Lack of ffxiv will do that to a person. But anyway with the beta approaching, I've gotten back to drawing. Someone's miqo'te that I promised to draw for her. Not the best drawing.
