  1. I finally rolled my character. My in game name is ''Dogshin Kahkol'' I named him Kahkol to avoid meta gaming. Contact me in game!
  2. People are allowed to have opinions, yo. Said what I had to say Under any roleplay scene that isn't considered as ''casual'', OOC achievements doesn't have anything to do with your IC power. Doesn't matter if that guy is level1, or level50
  3. It is terribly wrong to claim that you have an advantage on someone JUST because of your in-game level. It hinders the roleplay possibilities for low-level characters. Your level doesn't have anything to do with your roleplay, other than glamour/ weapon varieties. This shouldn't even be a topic to discuss.
  4. This is something I'm concerned and curious about as well. Well, I assume that as long as they both keep their identities hidden, they'll somehow get along! I'll make sure to contact you in game.
  5. Will contact you in-game once I get my character sorted out! Gotcha! I'm thinking about the same thing. Maybe, a tribe reunion or something like that? It sounds fun. And as far as I know, the massacre occurred recently, although they didn't clarify that just yet. I'll get in touch with you once my character is sorted out in game!
  6. Dogshin and Qadan will get along just fine, since they're from the same tribe! Read -this- for some information about Dogshin. Maybe, we could roleplay something like a reunion?
  7. I'm willing to roll an Au Ra from the Hotgo tribe. Dogshin is one of the few survivors of the Dotharl massacre. During the mass murder, he was sent out with a group of his brothers to gather supplies for the locals. A little bit about Dogshin: He is a twenty six years old Au Ra, who lived by the old standards: hunt, eat, live and love. His skin is darker compared to his brothers. He was known by a good part of his tribe for his accomplishments and contributions. He is quite tall and muscular, just like the vast majority of his tribe, due to years of work and hunting. What he lacks in aether energy and education, he makes up for in manpower. He is intelligent, calm, and easy going, regardless of his lack of education, unlike the rest of her brothers. He is a loyal person but laid back at the same time. He is a skilled swordsman. Due to his poor eyesight, he prefers close quarters combat. After the slaughter of his tribe, he resorted to Ul'dah, in hopes of coming across other survivors. He doesn't wear face paint in public and hides his identity in order to avoid conflict with other tribes. -- I tried to keep the backstory brief for better and slower development, since the lore is still getting rounded up. I am easy to approach, so, don't hesitate to contact me for some RP! I'll try to get my character sorted out in game as soon as possible. I'd like to plan a plot/ do a walk-up. My schedule is pretty flexible. I am looking for: employers, wanderers, extraordinaires, fellow tribe members and other people to roleplay with! I am OK with making enemies but for now, Dogshin will avoid conflicts and lay low until he links up with his tribe once again. Thank you for reading!
  8. Could you add Dogshin Hotgo to the list, aswell?
  9. Well said. I always cry a little when I see threads like this. Not to be an a hole, but it's best to build your relationships in-character. It's funnier that way
  10. Technically all you have to do to be a Scholar is find a tablet of Nym and/or crystal with a fairy in it. Make it plausible and not too many people will freak out about. Are those things hard to find? And how do people learn to control their fairies? They exist, but you need to be digging in the right places. The class quests should give you an idea when you reach them. Controlling the faerie is going to be a personal challenge; It's like asking how people train their pets. Not everyone finds it to work the same way, and faeries can have their own personalities, too. That's so interesting! I'll try and make myself an alt after making some research. Sounds like a funny concept.

  12. I like where this thread is going, although I have a question. What about scholars? Do they even exist anymore? Is it possible for people to just pick it up and study on it? I'd like to delve deeper into their lore. I'd appreciate an explanation, or a link of some sort!
