but dskfljsdlkjf I FEEL DUMB BUT I WAS LITERALLY SCREAMING THROUGH THIS PROCESS. I kept refreshing at 10:58pm and it didn't seem like it was working then literally at 11:00pm I was just like OHGOD I'M NOT MAKING IT. DON'T WANT TO STAY UP LATE AGAIN. Was able to make my character as well as my best friend's character on a separate account. This was so ridiculous. To those who weren't able to make it, don't give up! I know it's a wait, but keep trying! Post-maintenance seems to be more reasonable than pre-maintenance. To those who did, we made it!!

The things I do for RP lol. I've spent the past 2-3 days trying to sign up my character but there hasn't been a single opening. I thought ok, Saturday, everyone and their mother is on. Try Sunday people will have to go back to work. Nothing opened up last night/ this morning. I've read threads of people saying Tue-Thur is the best time but lol I don't know if I'm down to not sleep another night. I've really been considering just rolling my char in the server I have my main and that way be able to provide for her clothes or other small needs/ get her as high enough a level in three days and then transfer her over but 18 USD burns me along with the subscription. I might just bite the bullet though because it's not worth how I'm feeling right now from not sleeping lol.

Hi! I've been lurking around for a bit so I think I'm close to ready to make a post? So I haven't RPed in an mmo in a really long time and quite frankly miss it. I still have my main in Exodus, but I really want to give Balmung a shot. That said since I wont transfer my main, I have to roll a new character which is fine just kind of annoying having to go through everything again haha. I feel it'll be better though because ~*rp friends*~. I still haven't made my character (sdkflj I fell asleep last night), but this gives me kind of a chance to dip my toes in and see what sort of connections I can potentially make? I haven't decided on a tribe yet. I'm leaning towards Drake, but if I have the chance to make more char connections at another tribe I won't mind switching. My concept so far is that I want her to be originally from a tribe in Ul'dah but would have left with her mother to join a keeper group in The Black Shroud. Though from what I read there isn't a lot of RP in Gridania so I was thinking of having her go back and settling in Ul'dah?? Maybe going back to search for her old tribe? But yeah basically I'm just trying to find potential connections? Maybe flesh out more ideas here before I actually roll her and start playing her. Thanks and sorry for the tl;dr!
