Seye seems to have become quite interesting to most people just because she tries to use charades to get people to understand what she wants to say. I'd be down to roleplay, I feel like we have similar tastes in stories and plotlines. Xav might be an entertainingly good (or bad) fit. He's a Duskwight Elezen noble, who's not so much a fan of nobility, with a love of monster biology, science, magic, adventure, a taste for gil, and a heart of gold (eh okay maybe like gold and oil, he's a little sneaky). From his (WIP) wiki page: "He was born into a moderately notable house within Ishgard. Alongside noble lineage, many past ancestors had been merchants, alchemists, scholars, and smugglers. While this made for a wealthier than average house, it also made Reinardes a house that was often snubbed by some houses of both similar and higher position, for a history of less than reputable deeds and association with the general peasantry. Seeking a life outside the gaze of rivals from other houses, and those within the house who would demand behavior "more befitting a noble" Xav left to travel Eorzea, his reticent younger sister left to tend to the house in his stead.

Returning player here. I'm really excited to make new friends and hopefully dive back into the game. For a brief summary of my character: Xavieraux Reinardes is a Duskwight Elezen noble from a minor Ishgardian house, who has been traveling to meet new people, discover new monsters, and research magical secrets, and maybe help out a little a long the way. He's snarky, just, analytical and jovial, but with a small sadistic streak and a good sense of schadenfreude. He loves to help those who need aid, and to punish and toy with the unjust. Chaotic Good if we had to simplify his alignment. He's always eager to unravel a mystery and discover something new. His fighting style is a mixture of sword and arcane magic to exploit the weaknesses of any monster or opponent, no fighting style or tactic is too dirty or cheap. Also I'm looking for a Free Company: I'm looking for one that is Medium to Large in size, but the important part is mainly that they are very active. I prefer Medium-Heavy roleplay. Also if the FC regularly does any raiding or trial type content, that would be welcomed. I try to regularly play weeknights and weekends, EST. Game-role wise, I tank and I tank and I never stop tank. Glad to hear things are still going strong on Balmung, disheartening to hear about the possibly permanent server lock, and housing still being an issue.

So, I'm planning on picking up Stormblood and trying to get back into FFXIV, now that my life is a little more in order and the expansion seems very good. But, what server makes more sense right now? My main is currently on Balmung, but I have no particular attachment to the server, having been away long enough that likely few players on the server remember me. I would love to buy a house or apartment on sometime, and that does seem somewhat impossible on Balmung, or has that changed? Anyways, would love to hear people's opinions on both, since I can pick from either despite Balmung being locked. RP quality, how harsh the markets are, etc. Feel free to inform me of anything about either and tell me which you like better.

His fighting style is a mixture of axes, rapier, and arcane magic to fell foul beasts, think of him as a Red Mage, short of the fact we don't have them in game (but we will soon!). Also I'm looking for a new FC, to ape an earlier post of mine: As well, I'm also looking for a Free Company! I've been keeping an eye out/making my search known in-game, and looking at the FC thread on here, but so many of the FCs just seem so great! I'm looking for one that is Medium to Large in size, but the important part is mainly that they are very active. I'd prefer an FC of 40 people in which 30+ are regularly online and doing events, to an FC of 80 people in which 10 are usually online and has one event per month. I prefer Medium-Heavy roleplay, and the FC must be LBTQIA friendly. But yeah, feel free to add me in game and pm me for rp or if you just want to be friends.

I'd actually be very interested in them meeting, Xavieraux ran away from his responsibilities (in part because of the pressure) but also to try and help people better without the restrictions of nobility.

His fighting style is a mixture of axes, rapier, and arcane magic to fell foul beasts (gameplay wise currently a warrior, but if/when Red Mage happens I intend to switch to that). Lastly, I try to keep Xav as close to the lore/not lore-breaking as I can, but I'm also still working on fleshing him out. Here is a link to his RPC Wiki, if you are curious. Whether it's a chance encounter in the marketplace, a whirlwind romance, teaming up to take down a barbaric bandit, an intricate instance of political parley, I'd love to meet some new people and friends, and have Xav roleplay with your characters. Hey everyone, I'm Cogito, it's nice to meet you all. Hmm, this feels weird, almost as if I rejoined simillarly before... I actually used to play awhile back and recently re-subscribed with having gotten RL stuff more in order. I'd love to meet more people to roleplay with or join a roleplaying-guild or linkshell. I'm not new to roleplay, I've been roleplaying on Forums, World of Warcraft, or Guild Wars 2 since my early teens (though I'd hope I've gotten a little better at it since then!) and I've also been roleplaying in FFXIV for a solid amount of time in the past. As someone who played FFVII for the first time in 2012, I'm glad for the people that have affection for it.

Holy crap. 26 pages?! What did I do.

When WOTLK came out you only needed a character with a level above 55 (the Death Knight started at 55) in order to make a Death Knight. Max Level during Burning Crusade was 70, and max level during Wrath of the Lich King was 80. I understand the point you are trying to make, but Death Knights in WoW are not a good example. As well, in World of Warcraft the skills needed to get to 55 did not at all equate to understanding how your class worked.
