When you tear google apart trying to find how tribal tattoos were done historically to figure out which method your character had her's done. Bonus points for the fact that the character can't reveal said tattoo for plot reasons.

I'd like to sign up Chouwa Morrison to be a server! I'd love to take part in the event, but seeing as a certain someone would rather stay unnoticed, a server sounds like an excellent option.

My character's a wanted thief unsure of what to do with herself after her entire gang save for herself was jailed by the Brass Blades. I'm considering having her attempt to find some honest work, but old habits do die hard, someone could easily bring her back to thieving. Looking forward to talking to someone.

So long story short, shit went down in my non-rpfc. I've been looking into getting back into roleplaying again. While I have been roleplaying among a group for a while now, I don't really feel like I belong. So I'd like to find a new fc that would accept a character who is a wanted thief. Chouwa's looking to do some straight honest work, but old habits do die hard. I don't have any true plots in mind for her seeing as I've been floating aimlessly, so any help in creating a plot for her would be lovely. Looking forward to hearing from people.

While I imagine some people do eat chocobo meat, I feel like it's done in areas where other sources of meat are hard to find. Like how in some foreign countries, horse is a potential choice of meat. That said, with dodos, chickens, ducks and buzzards, I think most Spoken have enough poultry to satisfy their urges without turning their forks to their beloved chocobos.

I'd definitely say Chouwa's trouble! While she's not actually a locksmith - It's a lie to provide a cover for her lockpicking skill-, it doesn't hurt to have the tools.:thumbsup: I'll definitely keep that in mind if I ever see you.

Defintely could. Granted there would be some issues considering Chouwa isn't all that fond of the whole, "Killing because someone paid you to." shtick. But interesting doesn't automatically mean 'bff'.

Greetings everyone! The name's TK. I've got little over two years of roleplay experience on forums and tumblr, but never done it in MMOs(Well there was that one time in WoW where I walked in on two rpers and one interacted with me, but that doesn't count). You may have seen me around in Character Workshop asking for some feedback on my character. Well, now I'm ready to bring her into this wonderful world that is Balmung rp. Chouwa Morrison's a thief on the run who isn't actually aware she's supposed to be running. Long story short, her gang leader sent her to Limsa Lominsa right before a sting happened. As a result, Chouwa has a bounty on her head back in Ul'Dah she's not aware about. For now, she's claiming to be a locksmith seeking work while waiting for her boss to give her further instructions. While Chouwa's waiting, I'd love to get some interaction with her and other characters. The locksmithing story functions as one potential hook. If your character is familiar with the Ul'Dahn underground, they might be familiar with The Syndicate's Bane (Her gang), and by extension, Chouwa. I'll likely be online as her from around 8-10 PM PST. Looking forward to roleplaying with you all.

What a coincidence, my own (former) Ul'Dahn thief's in need of some connections. She's currently based in Limsa Lominsa pretending to be a locksmith, so we could potentially go from there?

Honestly, I feel like the only difference between a female Chouwa and a male Chouwa is that she's named Tsugi instead and has a penis. Still a thief, still likes gardening and is still into girls.

This might not be a bad idea. One of my characters hides her weapons most of the time as well as all it takes is one guard to notice it. Id be happy to hear the new story once its done! Wasn't much of a new story so much as it was figuring out how exactly the group worked. In any case, the thieves would cover their arms at all times. Some of them however got into the habit of rolling up their sleeves and showing off the snake to their target days before pulling off the heist. A silent warning if you would.

I get the feeling Chouwa was told not to expose it. I might need to flesh out her backstory concerning the group a bit more.

That is also a very good point. Unfortunately, Chouwa's a dumb kid and likely exposed the mark anyways. Her wiki rolls with the idea she keeps it hidden. Might roll with the idea she only recently began covering the mark as a marriage of the two ideas.

Chouwa often left her tattoo exposed, so she would indeed show it off in Limsa Lominsa. Thank you for the advice. Now I gotta find someone willing to weave the shirt cheap.

I've got no issues with mentioning the tattoo in emote, I'm just wondering if it should be visible. Chouwa's group was arrested and since she wasn't there, one could assume the Brass Blades might be looking for her. I'm wondering if Chouwa should be covering the tattoo (U'wera might've told her to do so), or leave it exposed since she wouldn't know about the sting.

So I'm planning my character's outfit, and I've hit a snag. Chouwa belonged to an Ul'Dahn thieving ring that would tattoo a snake onto the arms of its' members. Obviously Chouwa has this tattoo. Chouwa's currently in Limsa Lominsa after being sent there by the leader on a mission. However, there isn't a mission. The ring was going to be busted and U'wera (the leader), wanted Chouwa out of Ul'Dah. Now this is where my issue comes in. Should I get her a shirt that'll expose the tattoo(I'm thinking the Arachne Shirt of Scouting since it has a tattoo) or go with something that'll cover it up? Thanks for the help everyone.
