So far, We will be in Moogle (EU) Server, and trying to build a fresh RP community from their. We are currently hoping, to start up forum RP on our guild site to help us transition our story, with abdundance of depth come the time of Open Beta. There will be various ways to enjoy the Lore of Hydaelyn, and there is various lore threads and discussions on our guild site. So feel free to pop in. We are currently planning to be a band of mercenaries.. a family in a sense, but story has not developed as far as that yet, we are still deciding. So now is an opportune time to join in. Lockheart.

If there is, I'll certainly look forward to it! ^ _ ^ I'm just having trouble with the video being so long and my internet being 3G haha. Hopefully it might be in Phase 3 to take a peek at.

I'm not so sure that was what is mentioned in the video, he mentions monks have 3 stances they have to switch through to perform combos, making their playstyle unique, He also mentioned there is ways to make your playstyle different to others... not so sure about "Specs". I guess we should just wait and see what is announced next week.

Wait what.. so like, talent trees? What time is this discussed in the video? I think he means three action bars where abilities can be placed. Ah Right, I generally thought you could anyways, then again I've been using gamepad so, wouldn't know. I know you get unique job abilities from Grand Companies. Just excited to hear new info from E3!

Hey all, We are currently planning on making a guild Newspaper, for others on the new server we wish to play on (bringing RP to one of the new servers!). Currently we plan on calling it: The Tales of Tails (Complete with a Miqo'te tail logo! *dun dun dun!*) Hehe. We are looking for writers for various sections so don't be shy, join in our free company today!

I personally am very hyped for E3 now, as I -really- want to see Arcanist and Summoner/Scholar, I plan to be levelling whatever the confirmed sub-class requirements are for them in Phase 4 so I can experiment with both of them come launch! I am hoping Scholar is similliar to it's usual self, and I hope I get to keep Carbuncle in at least one the two new jobs. (I really want to have fun with Carbuncle as a companion in RP). Scholar would so wonders for bigger parties, with all the emnity tweeking and weather/debuff, just all of that control wold make you the perfect tactitioner (for shouting out fight phases to your group and aiding them in keeping the situation under control <3). It just sounds so exciting, and I cannot wait to work with my Free Company as one of them. Summoner will be SO much fun in PvP! Pet classes normally are, and not to mention endless RP + PvP opportunities.

I'm sure myself and the rest of my Free Company would be willing to take part in this event!

I played in 1.2 very briefly, but I couldn't really get too engaged into it all It was all so pretty I just hate how it felt, but the new changes have fixed everything I hated so I am more than happy!

I agree, I like that sort of RP stye in a guild too, my only concern is a lot of RP may happen in the Player housing Instances now. I think My Free company will use such for meetings and plans, maybe fun RPPvP training events (if possible) and the likes. Otherwise we want to RP in all sorts of locations around Eorzea (I mean look at the tour video.. WOW! )

I guess it doesn't matter what server you go to in the end, there will always be some trying to get in the way, but my guild tend to just ignore them, as they have as much right as we do to be there. (This of course is assuming it still won't be official RP server) which makes me think it might be worth my time trying a new server~... just not sure, who knows, there is a lot to consider now a lot of info is due to flood in. Leviathan casts info Tsunami... EEEEEP!

I'm really excited to recieve my PC Version CE, I'm hoping they don't mess it up, but I'm also unsure if Zavvi will give me the Pre-order bonus... I should maybe take my pre-order reciept to SE customer support and see if they can redeem the pre-order for me~ Who knows maybe they havn't updated their site yet with pre-order bonuses on Zavvi.

Well, if it does use Arcanist, I think i'm going to be in a dilemma over Summoner/Scholar, it's making me look forward to launch even more! Beta has been so much fun so far and all this teasing just doesn't help! hehe.

I've quit WoW recently, owning an RPPvP/PvE guild which had around 100-ish members at it's peak, it was so much fun, we always had things to do and I'm certainly making a Free Company which is RPPvP/PvE in ARR, we are already working on guild story and the likes. So look out for "Lockheart Legion" hopefully, myself and guildees are so hyped for this game! I am so looking forward to RPing in the new locations, the possibilities seem endless compared to other MMO's. (I've always been an FF fan at heart!)

It'd be nice if they allowed us to set the day/night cycle to our preferred timezone, it would help maintain immersion a lot more, but tbh, I guess the days are okay.. When I was in the beta I was hoping it was just testing lighting, I mean surely all that constant lighting changing would take a lot of GPU power? (of course I could have no clue what I'm talking about either hehehe)

Hehe, I'm quite excited, doesn't that means Scholar will also be able to use Carbuncle, IF it uses the Arcanist class to progress?

Hey guys, just was looking for a place to say I'm back ^^;; thought that this old thread would have been a good place to start, I'm looking forward to joining in with the community, just wondering. This community will be on Balmung? I'm hoping there may be an official RP server, but then again that is unlikely, but I want to be where the action is and my Free Company to be, is looking forward to RPing with everyone here. We range from casual to inbetween RPers who love PvP and PvE, so look out for the "Lockheart Legion".

I used to find Tonberries really creepy when I was little, probably due to the fact they could insta-kill you, and I got an invite today! ^ __ ^ I can't wait until my clients finished preparing.
