This is what I was thinking too.

Arlon has kept himself lower-middle class, mostly by luck. As well as leves, he takes on any side jobs that people offer. He has always been good at managing money and has never been forced into poverty. He's content with what money he does have.

Hmm.... If I make a new character I guess I could change the name a bit, or the history. I think "Arlon Lecarde" is ok for an Elezen name. "Lecarde" is Spanish though, not french. hmm...

RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Iwould say Medium. I am a very active forum roleplayer and I do enjoy in game roleplay as well but OOC chat does need to come in at some point, either directly or through (()) or however it is Views on RP combat and injuries: Invinciblecharacters are never any fun to play, or see. I say that as long as at least a few attacks from a flurry connect, it's believable unless the character has displayed the necessary speed to dodge the attack(s). Scars also tell a story about the character and make it interesting. It depends on the type of combat and situation(is there a Paladin or White mage present, does the character carry potions etc) that injuries are sustained Views on IC romance: I wouldn't mind if a character has romantic inclinationstowards mine. I find that it strengthens bonds both IC and OOC if characters are attracted to eachother. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I'm always up for making new friends! I've had families inother RP groups and I loved it. Views on lore: Lore is key to any Roleplay. Getting to know areas and thegames history makes for interesting and accurate story telling. I dont mind non-lore RP or maybe shifting it a bit, especially for characters memories (e.g. A cabin in the forest where one doesn't exist) Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Hmm.. I dont mind OOC chat in /say or /linkshell as long aswe talk about it beforehand, especially if we have designated that we are actively roleplaying in that timeframe. III. Thank you all for the warm welcomes! I was on the Caitsith server in XI. My character name was Brayker and I had BLU RDM COR SAM PLD RNG and BST at 75 and stopped playing soon after they raised the level cap and introduced Abyssea. I will post examples of my Roleplaying tomorrow morning.

Hello all. My name is Arl... *Notices the dancing cactuar and other final fantasy related emoticons* Umm. where was I? Oh yes! My name is Arlon. I have been roleplaying for over 12 years through chat programs, in final fantasy XI, Tera online and other MMORPG's. I have played MMO's since Final Fantasy in 2003. I stuck with FFXI for 7 years, then went on to other MMO's but none of them gave me the sense of community and family that XI had. Over the course of my gaming, I have had 2 meetups with linkshell mates from all over the country. We all gathered in Ohio the first year at a hotel for a weekend, and the next year we all rented a lakehouse and stayed for a week. There were 17 of us the first time, and 12 of us the next year. Good times. I tried FFXIV when it first release and was disappointed in the quality of the game overall but A Realm Reborn looks to be much improved and I can't wait! I do love forum and in-game roleplaying, creating stories for my characters and interacting with others. I will usually wait make a character before roleplaying due to the issue of the features not being an option in the character creator. I also haven't chosen what class(s) I'd like to play when the game releases. It's good to meet you all. I'm very excited about being with an active group of roleplayers again!
