Soo.. I don't know what constitutes as "new" in this case. Technically I am an old member, as can be seen by my date of joining, but I haven't visited this site for a long time (heck, it looked VERY different last time I visited).. And only recently decided to return. I can understand if join date and such takes precedence in establishing who's new and who isn't though.

Keeping an eye on Wildstar and The Elder Scrolls Online. I am often able to juggle between two MMOs at the same time without having them interfere with one another.. So we'll see which one of them will become my secondary game.

The Monk combo seems a bit clunky, but I suppose that the tempo actually fits the tempo of the current battle-system.

While I haven't completely fleshed out the character that I wish to start out with in ARR (Hell, I've barely begun thinking up the details), I typically use animals as a personality/primary characteristics template. In this case (Name Unkown) will be based on an Indian Civet (or Toddycat, for the Brits among you):

In regards to simply dropping a weapon in combat and pick up another (or simply use one's fists), there are a few other things to take into consideration. The Pugilist and the Monk, both have the ability to move quickly and evade, etc.. That would not be possible for someone who just a second ago was a Paladin/Warrior in full armour. Your punches and kicks, should they connect, might hit harder.. But they wouldn't be as quick, and evasion would be harder. On the other hand, dropping your staff/wand and picking up a sword and shield, would require you to really make good use of the shield, as now you have nothing but some linen cloth between yourself and some nasty critters claws/another character's weapon.

Clearly a summoner's powers are not limited to evoking the essences of god-like entities, surely once you've managed to master the summoning arts, you can draw out your equipment from smaller pocket dimension, and have it attach itself to your person. Now with that joke out of the way, I am inclined to agree with Abodo. Unless you carry around your wardrobe wherever you go, you'll have to enter your cabin/room prior to doing whatever it is that you wish to do.. And prepare in advance. And I suppose that if someone could come up with magical explanation more serious than my own, I would have no real problems with it.

Wow, it sure has been a long time since I last popped in around these parts of the innerwebs.. I believe that the site's wiki only had three or four pages back then.. Although going by the new name and look, a merger likely happened. So hello, I am Mycroft (previously Malrend), I am not exactly new, but as good as. Awesome.. Got Pentakill Morde on the day he was released.. And I don't play Morde very often. Also I think that they might change Lux's standard skin into one of the alternate skins she was to be released with, except with a Demacian colour scheme.. You know the Blue/White/Gold thing.

Actually, it seems like RIOT is doing a last minute change of both her art/model and abilities.. Changing her into a support nuker.. With a Barrier/Shield instead of stealth.

Swain is without any means of escape through his normal skill set (unless you're good at placing Nevermove) so he's an obvious target, go HP/AP and add some AD for his normal attacks to deal even more damage on enemies afflicted with Torment. I actually downed a Trynd by applying Torment to him halfway through his ult and then AA'ing him.

Pantheon is a beast, and easy to master, also it seems that RIOT is contemplating on (finally) changing his ult in their next BIG patch. Another good AD character would be Twisted Fate, he is severely underrated right now, but he is a huge asset if played right.. I prefer to go AP with him which transforms him into a super-burster a la Kassadin, but going DPS with an AD TF is easier both item and rune-wise. On a side-note.. Swain is epic, damn I've been flamed for playing him by a lot of my opponents, even when they were winning.. "Swain is OP! Like all other new champs.. Just you wait till RIOT nerfs him next patch, then you'll QQ" bla bla bla.. He is perhaps one of the most balanced champs from his release.. Aside from Nasus who has only been tweaked 2 or 3 times since his reveals.

I absolutely love AD Kat.. A lot of people fail to realize that Bouncing Blade deals more damage than Shunpo, sure the damage reduction gained from Killing Instinct + Shunpo is nice, but with so many characters with either HP regen or Heals in each match now, the reduced healing from Killing Instinct + Bouncing Blade is a lot more valid. Also her ult scales better with AD than AP.

Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to play him yet, but I like his concept.. And a guy with Edgar Allan Poe inspired abilities is great in my book.
