Bit of an update here, This event's monthly day has changed into the second Thursday, instead of second Tuesday. Scheduling conflicts within groups is the cause. The event on the 14th is still a go though!

Simple Social events are always fun, and a great way to meet new folks!

This event will be held on the second Thursday of every month starting around 7PM EST, and going into 9PM-ish, We will decide upon the very start of the event each month where we should go, as a small group ICly. No need to sign up, just show up around (15-30 minutes of) the posted start time, and chime in! If you are looking for an RP hook to head in, Mitsuko has posted simple flyers about, and you could have picked one up! This is all about simple, social RP, nothing too complicated, no overarching stories being told, It will start each month at the Reclaimers' HQ, Located in Ward 4, Plot 5 of The Goblet! Come hang out in the lawn and be sure to look into where you might want to go! Please feel free to PM me any questions, Post them, or pester me in game!

Update! I should have posted this somewhere above, but I also role play very mature subject matters. Things such as depressed characters, suicidal thoughts, and other such really dark things. While I as a player do these, many are not willing to delve that deeply into things, or associate with people such as myself. It also stands to warn those in advance that I as a player and not always the most stable of sorts, and if things are too heavily relate-able to me, I may say or do something stupid in a half-automatic attempt to de-stress!

This would normally be something quite up Mits' alley! But she doesn't quite need lessons, more how to teach others herself.

Finally! Now to watch all the hype really kick up!

balmung Second Best Scribe in Eorzea LF Connections!
Nasha Aqi replied to Elysia's topic in Chronicled Connections
I'd certainly love to meet her as well! Mitsuko writes a lot, though not in stories or anything, more just...scribe work! She does love speaking with people, or listening though, it's what she enjoys most when interacting with others! -
Hi Mitsuko, I really like the unique take you are going with your Mi'qote, especially with taking her out of combat as a support character. Not many players do so, but that sort of supportive role is essential to not only good RP but a good player base. I decided to draw Mits with a confident look to the distance. Regardless of where she came from she's always moving forward. At least she tries too! Hard not to keep growing when you've got plenty of youth left in you! Moving is another story though, seriously, in every event of her leaving her company's home to do other work for said company...It gets attacked, and damaged...She lives there, It's her home! She doesn't ever want to leave again, because damn it, she likes where she is (Even if she does wish it wasn't in the Goblet.) I like the work though! Being the second ever bit of artwork of Mits, I have to say, it's a great take on her! Only little bits I could see or suggest, would be her missing scars, and the odd finger on her right hand. Heh, It's quite difficult to play the supporting character though....Specially when so many are so focused elsewhere, they get overlooked!

Oh my! This should be fun! Even if you don't decide to do me, this is still an amazingly kind thing to do for those you do pick! Here are some References to look at, Front an side views, in her normal relaxing clothing: http://imgur.com/a/rDoWm As for her story, Mitsuko wasn't born in Eorzea, nor had she ever truly intended to settle down here, at least as much as she has. Frankly, she doesn't remember the how or why she ended up here, a blessing, given her past, granted by her parents before they gave themselves to save her, and many others. She came to the lands by way of a sinking ship, torn apart in a storm, washing ashore on driftwood...After some recovery time, and gathering what she could of herself, she set off to become a cook, a medic, anything she could do to help others as she was helped so greatly by a very old man. She may be young, twenty, but she acts as everyone's mother in the company she became a part of, cooking meals, often on request, or after hounding someone to eat that day, stitching minor wounds closed, or just speaking with someone that seems to be down. She doesn't like to fight, doesn't use magic nearly at all....The best she has are alchemical tools she makes and uses to defend herself, at least until she can run like hell! She also has a love of making juice, and cleaning. Basically, she is a very, very ordinary person, shoved into the middle of a bunch of crazy people (In so many different flavors), taking care of them all. There is, of course, much much more to her, some found on her Wiki, some to be garnered from RP itself....Though a few hints to it are a mystery of having changed, one day, from a seeker, into a keeper...And a pair of Garlean spies that seemed very interested in acquiring her for some reason....Even hiring slavers to try and do so. As for a more recent story, very recent. Being one of the thinker types, and needing to get out of the house, Mitsuko offered to help in a search and rescue mission, at least, in the searching part. Things were going well, in fact, she was one of the leading forces of it, thinking of, and finding the clues, and having the knowledge of who to ask, and where to go for more information. Leading them far away from her house, she was recalled when said house came under attack, a coincidental attack by evil forces. During the attack, though not a combatant, she helped take down a large man-thing that even the security force had difficulty with, with the aid of a friend, she threw down a puddle of sticky goo, and the friend shocked the foe's knees, causing it to flail and lunge and trip, trapping itself into the goo, allowing the actual armed forces to dispatch it. She was lucky to not be hurt this time, and after things had calmed, and she spent a night screaming into her pillow (Seriously, every time she leaves the house on a mission, it gets attacked) She was asked to manage and supervise the reconstruction efforts for the damage.

balmung Gently used Keeper in need of TLC
Nasha Aqi replied to Gone.'s topic in Chronicled Connections
That's horrible to hear! Mitsuko would certainly wish to be there for her, after Vet had helped her so greatly in her own bad times! -
Mitsuko Rhowa here! Will give it a try as date! Lets see who would want to buy an overworked, overstressed cleaning and cooking lady! She really only favors women for any deeper company, but is open to all to become friends and be herself in a general, caring way! She often is seen as more a proper sort of person, the wears nice clothes, has manners, and the like.

The Reclaimers , is also up there in the RP/PvE grouping. Often have a few of us about just roleplaying both slice of life things, and some stories/personal stories....And at the same time, others are doing content to progress/make money, or helping others do the same! We have a site and such, just ask if you are interested for the link!

I. Basic Info Characters: Mitsuko Rhowa Primary character: Mitsuko Rhowa Linkshells: The Reclaimers (FC IC chat) Primary RP linkshell: The Reclaimers (FC IC chat) II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium-Heavy, I tend to always be IC/Up to RP. I do use some very mature themes, within ranges that people do not like, so...bit of a warning...Though can sometimes be found just running about like a crazy person in a silly outfit, doing dungeons or leveling up some crafting. Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm all for them, especially when some realism is involved. I'm even for having my character hurt by others doing, though it does require a good bit of trust, and knowing the players involved to know just how far it can be done. Views on IC romance: Having done quite a few over the years, I'm all for letting things go as they develop naturally...Sure occasionally I've been asked to come into this game, and make a character for someone, but when things get the green light after, it's all organic. Characters have likes and dislikes, and if there are many more likes than dislikes, and characters get along and start feeling for each other, why stop it? Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Having an extended family can be a grace and a hindrance in my eyes. If you work on a pair of siblings with someone, it's quite different than if someone just wants to play your character's sibling, though you've not written one in story wise, or the one written isn't how they want to play them. All in all, when done right, it can be great. Views on lore: I try to stay as in-lore as possible within a game, I'll try to find a loophole here or there to make my character at least seem plausible if I'm doing something a little out there, but not unlikely. Usually this is just a minor thing such as having a slightly illogical condition (Such as once playing an Albino within a race of people who generally are never even thought to be able to be such...Albino Hellsguard anyone?) Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): The chat functions...Function...95% of the time. I wish there was maybe just one more level of "Range" between Say and Yell, to represent louder speech, yet not be a Yell...I don't know...With how Shout is used as general chat...Just feels like it's needed. Hello there! Been a lurker here for a few months, and finally got my gears set in place to actually say hello and get into helping branch out my RP in game and such with the characters, and expand my horizons! I grew into RP naturally, only discovering actual Role play once I meet my teen years, when I started to do so in City of Heroes/Villains in the early 2000's..Before then, it was just all pretend to my young, untainted mind. All in all, I'm a medium-heavy sort of Roleplayer, spending most of my time writing/wanting to RP, or seeking it out and the like. I'm more than happy to actually play the game with a friend, or company mate, and try to insert myself into stories and events as my characters would fit. An example being my main here in FFXIV, She's a Scribe, Stewardess, and Cook...She really isn't good for anything with combat, but ask her to help set up a party, or go find a book on some obscure subject, and she's a great help! I also enjoy creating much more than just a character, putting up my own settings, worlds, techs and alien races, fantasy or sci-fi, I like to write in just about everything...Except typical doom and gloom post-apocalyptic settings..I much more prefer the Post-Post-Apocalyptic, where the world is more or less livable, basic needs aren't scarce...But plenty of danger is still about.
