I haven't played XIV since.. sometime last year due to other hobbies but I thought this thing could fit here ^^ Presenting my mostly nice Y'shtola cosplay I wore at a Finnish event: Really loved making the details, the ears and wig not so much. But I just had to choose her, since there are so few cosplays of Y'shtola. *bows*

I visited briefly but had to leave early... It was nice to see so many from EU(and from everywhere else too). Maybe next time I have the courage to talk to someone else than the wait staff >u

Quickie. Surprisingly not being able to log in for a week drives one to play other games. So here's my norn engineer from GW2. I still have lot to learn when it comes to digital painting. ^^

Today I picked up Journey as I have heard so much of it. Gotta admit that a working game is such a relief after the server ruckus. Bf's been playing this Kerbal Space Program and is now trying to figure out some strategy game for us to play... But what if I want a fantasy mmo >>

Awesome idea! Imo duty finder severely limits interaction... and since I play this game for company, doing dingeons becomes just endless grind for nothing. In wow before dungeon finder and especially on low level character, on a low-pop server I still preferred looking for group for 2 hours instead of instant queue with people I'll never see again. I made so many good friends and when you once get to know them, you can do stuff with them in the future ^^ Count me in!

Your art is gorgeous! I really dig your coloring style, it looks a bit like watercolours and brings an edge to the portraits. Combined with your linework they make very pretty and unique pictures. Also, your art reminds me of old b&w book illustrations, which is very cool. :3

Thank you for freaking out! Oh wait... ^^; And since I like to draw characters without existing art.. or even in-game reference(there's something about the character models...) Here's Runa Dawning. I think she could very well present some mechanic gal, ready to fix things!

Count me in :> Even with some from having odd hours, they still never seem to be online at the same time. Xeon - It was stated that the linkshell will be OOC, so it's for organizing rp, not for IC conversation ^^ And you can be in more than one linkshell at the same time.

I'm usually playing healers in all of my mmos. 99% of the time I have nametags on and if not, I have at least the tank selected and can spot them that way. So feel free to play which size character as you want, healers will find a way to heal. Usually I'm following at the tank's taiös and dps are the ones that get left behind. Size is usually an asset in pvp, where smaller character is harder to click. But who would select by clicking ;>

I'm all in for rp with other newcomers! If I manage to catch some computer time at weekend.. I feel like it's gonna be easier with others who are still new to whole thing. //edited cause the date was actually announced before ^^;

I think it means that you can use those classes abilities as the said job. Would make more sense. You mentioned cross-class abilities too yourself

Heya, thought I'd update my status in this. Gerik paired me with Aysun, but our time zones clash really bad. So, I'd be looking for a mentor who can stand a total newbie in terms of rp. I could use some tips with fine-tuning my character and writing replies. My online times vary between 03:00-17:00 EST, 10:00-00:00 GMT +2. And since I didn't do any kind of introduction in my last post... I'm a 21 years old finnish girl, working in a job with both morning and evening shifts. When not at work I really enjoy drawing, games, planning anything rp and seeking out new stuff to try. My interests tends to fall after two weeks of solely dedicating my time to them, which can be a pain. FF XIV has stuck though which I'm happy about. Maybe it would improve my skill with English. Thanks for the event. Even if it was more than a bit overwhelming for someone who rps for the first time in an mmo. Just the sheer amount of people... I wasn't really happy with my character's performance, but let's say she had a bad day and wasn't in the mood for puzzles and riddles. Or confusing Miqo'te ;> Looking forward to any other events you might come up with!
