I've been giving this a lot of thought and I think that this would be an extremely hard thing to ask an entire server of people to do. They'd lose immense amounts of money, housing, items, etc. I don't think I'd be able to do it; even if I thought it was actually the better idea. It'd be easier for them to offer the non-RP'ers a way off of Balmung, than to move ALL of the RP'ers that make up Balmung.

A lot has happened to Heartwood Trading Company since establishing in Eorzea! I thought I would share a few things. Most notably: We've recently purchased our own Free Company house! Many of our members have been attaining level 50 and obtaining their relic weapons. We're beginning to establish the "Ultima Division," our version of raiding. Role-play is happening on a daily basis and there are some fun and exciting stories taking place. We just celebrated All Saints' Wake with several big events & contests. These are just a few of the things that have been going on recently. I've always been partial to shorter characters in game. As someone who is not tall, I guess I associate with them on that level. So I went with Lalafell. I'm a bit torn between Dunesfolk and Plainsfolk. I was DF in 1.0, but I may rewrite her backstory to go with PF this time around.

My husband and I at a wedding last August. It's the most recent picture I have. However, I've since dyed my hair bright red. I'll have to get an updated pic at some point.

While that's true to a point, there will be plenty of people (like myself) who plan to start a new class to experience everything from the start. I too, have a ton of people who will be joining in at launch and starting right from the beginning like you, and I'm sure there will be a lot more too. Balmung was a very good server when 1.0 was running; people were helpful and kind and it was just a ton of fun! I think it'd be nice if we had an influx of new RPer's on Balmung. It would also be great to try and keep the RP community together as much as possible. If we split up, it's less RP to go around.
