Awesome! Thanks a ton for the information! Well don't get too happy just yet. It says some worlds may not be available for transfer due to world population. So still a grey area that leaves nothing for certain. And if a bunch of folks seek a transfer then someone in the end can still be locked out. So...yeah. May have to pray to your gods, sacrifice chickens, throw a virgin into a volcano... ....wait scratch the last one out. Can't waste those!

I agree with your assessment and I rather a proactive stance than waiting and being reactive again to avoid such situations. So I can't see why Faerie is not as good as any other. Granted to me it is just a name so I never been one to care in any case, heh. Just want to be able to hang out and enjoy the game with those of a like mind. Hell, I led a RP guild in FFXI on Garuda and we sure as heck didn't have any to rp with but ourselves but yet it was one of the best experiences I have ever had gaming wise. So if it is open I shall create a character there this evening.

Very well said in both your posts. I found it disconcerting myself reading some of the posts including the stance of the site. It seemed more about promoting the individual communities than about promoting roleplaying which I find stands higher than any server. For me, the server is the hub but the community is all and every single roleplayer no matter where they call home. I enjoy all their stories, their characters and their development. I really could care less what server they lay their head. But not everyone has been as such and are just as troubled by the split caused by game mechanics. As one of those stuck on the outside I thank those for their support. It isn't easy since I have friends who got on Gilgamesh during p4 that I have known for ten years. Unfortunately, my son got injured during his football scrimmage so I got on late in the weekend after my wife and I played doctor (get your mind out the gutter *laughs*!) and with that lost my opportunity. It is what it is and I will simply have to find a way to find roleplayers because without them my interest will fade as it is my greatest enjoyment in my online gaming. Just dropping the custom introduction here. Only just sampled FFXIV in the recent beta but my first MMO and the first time I learned/engaged in roleplay was FFXI. That will make this a bit of a coming home feeling for me. It was the one game where there was no rp server yet I experienced some of the best roleplay and built a great foundation of friends. Maybe it was because that meant we had to hold together that much more during those times. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to have some of those old friends here but chances probably aren't high *smiles* I was Aragos in FFXI on the Garuda server and leader of the roleplay linkshell Valinor. So if any from them knew me feel free to drop me a message. Look forward to stepping into old grounds and in a game that can possibly bring back some of that old magic I have been missing in my mmo gaming. Or then again maybe I should just say giving me a place I feel like I can call home. Granted I missed being an evasion ninja tank and sad to see that isn't in this one *sighs* Oh well! Guess I'll have to adjust, heh.
