*laughs* You and me both. Think this is my third damn time with putting effort into this game. This time the company I keep is what is making it lean to the love part more than hate so may be something best dealt with having the right circle around you. Best of luck out there and have a good one.

Greetings and welcome aboard. Looking forward to seeing you around.

Nice to meet you as well so greetings and welcome to the site. Hope you're having fun out there and enjoying yourself. Look forward to seeing you around.

Heh, well, here is a greeting that is not a greeting. Have yourself some fun on Mateus running everywhere. It's real good cardio after all and strengthens the heartbeat and the lungs. The bouncing I'm not so sure? Good muscle toning for the calves maybe? *smiles* Have fun out there and enjoy yourself. Welcome aboard.

I do believe there are those on Siren so don't let the fact you may not be on one of the more RP populated servers end your pursuits for some enjoyable RP. It only takes the right people around you to make the moments shared worthwhile after all. Best of luck out there and welcome aboard. Always good to meet new folks.

Greetings and welcome aboard. I hope you find your way about in the world out there and find yourself completely immersing into roleplay so that it becomes yet another avenue of enjoyment in your gaming experience. Have a great one out there.

Basic Info Characters: Zhauric Bloodsworn Primary character: Zhauric Linkshells: N/A Primary RP linkshell: N/A II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium to Heavy Views on RP combat and injuries: Never had to do such other than in an actual duel game mechanic. Up for learning combat systems and having such take place. Injuries are no concern since there are pointy objects involved and I hear they hurt. Maiming is a different story entirely. Views on IC romance: Can be a beautiful aspect of roleplay and bring unique development to not just your personal character. This particular character is taken story wise so not available for such at the moment. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): All for it from possible family ties, friendships and companions you meet along the way in adventures. Generally open to anything for the most part but to be tied in friendship RP or such. Views on lore: Personally I always try to adhere to it but I also don’t let it govern me to the point I lose the two cents I have left stressing about it. Always research what I can and build from there (you should see my sticky notes). Also not going to nitpick someone else. I have better things to do with my time. As long as people are having fun while not hampering the fun of others then I am happy for everyone. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I tend to prefer IC to flow from /say and /emotes but I’m fine with what works with those around me. Again, I’m not the nitpicking type. I have not joined a linkshell in this game so can’t really speak on that though would just adjust to the atmosphere per usual. III. balmung Hello From Bellatrix & Miyako [Balmung]
Zhauric replied to Kaia Warsong's topic in Welcome Desk
Oh hey! Small world indeed! What were the chances that I would run into you here? Oh wait... *smiles* I'm looking forward to seeing your own writing put up here and seeing what creative magic we can create together not to mention the mayhem we can cause together. I couldn't ask for a better partner in crime. We probably should prepare and practice an evil cackle for our future capers or some cool handshake exclusive for us. May the fun begin *Winks* -
Let's take the lazy route in throwing this sucker back up there. I'm back in the game once more after quite the hiatus after venturing to here, there, over there, under there, up top, beneath that table, under that bed, and so on. I have yet to figure my direction this time around but like everything great in one's life it will come in time. So a greetings to everyone since the initial post covers other thoughts (you know...lazy, right?) so I don't have to add too much more. Look forward to seeing everyone around and hope you're having a fantastic one out there in your travels.

Don't know you (since I don't know anyone *smiles*) but welcome back. From your posts you seem to have the type of spirit that would be missed by friends and associates alike so I'm sure it'll more of a reason to /dance *winks*

Well met to you also and welcome. Glad to see you here and hope you enjoy yourself breaking into the world of Final Fantasy. Not sure about the EU community so hopefully someone chimes in on that one. I do believe there is a group that networks on either Gilgamesh or Balmung. Best fortunes and have fun out there.

Greetings and welcome. Nice to meet you, Ivaan and look forward to seeing you around.

Greetings and welcome aboard. It's probably about time I got involved in some RP myself. Been spending all the time on figuring out what class I want to put most of my attention on and figuring the personality. So now that I stopped being so indecisive I'm ready to roll as well. If you end up needing something to get engaged in I am always available as such as Zhauric Bloodsworn.

As I hammer out this character (finally) I am perusing free companies. I noticed that Harbringers is a free company of Twin Adder but what if your character is not aligned with Twin's? Would they find a place in Twin's just like any other or would there be certain restrictions regarding position within the company? Speaking in-character wise that is. Of course I could have possibly missed the information in my browsing by having a 'blind' moment though I do promise I have my glasses on presently *smiles*. Thanks.

-What is the hesitation with playing a criminal mind, or any "baddy" for that matter? Honestly, I'm kind of surprised there is one. From previous experience I began to feel that it was the reverse that takes place. Way more baddies than goodies. I agree with your point that being 'bad' is not necessarily being an assassin or criminal and maybe some go with the mindset that is what a villan is all about when it can be so much more. One never knows. -Are there any with characters like the one described in the second observation? If so what inspired you to go that route as opposed to the other? None for me this time around. It was my first thought but I feel my best character was the shade of grey that may have tempered more onto the darker side. I see the value in both aspects though so understand those that may go the 'white knight' route as it opens a variety of dialogue and inner conflict. But for me, I found a way to make that darker character have that direction as well and found it rather challenging. I try to step outside my personal comfort level in roleplay when possible. -Are there any with characters like the one described in the first observation? If so what inspired you to go that route as opposed to the other? My character will fall into the first observation in all likelyhood. I do this to step out of my comfort zone. I feel too often some of my characters take on my personality traits and want to force myself to think outside the box. I have only done so a couple of times and enjoyed it thoroughly. The RP partner I had at the time took me to that level which I could not thank her enough since I generally always played the white knight. It was refreshing to go to a different level/new experience. -Do you agree or disagree that there needs to be some sort of balance struck? While it is nice to have I don't feel there has to be a 'need'. Diversity is nice but it comes down to quality more than anything. If there is a shortage of those who walk a darkery or more grey path then raise the quality that is being held. Network, communicate and bring those under such an aspect together more. It will make a number that totals a few to seem of a greater amount just based on what they bring forward to the community and the roleplay experience shared by all. Plus I'm like others where I'm more of a roleplay what you like and I'll work with it one way or another. Just want all to enjoy themself and have fun *winks* Sometimes things come more naturally for someone playing within themself and I can never fault anyone for that.

Eh, speak for yourself. I bite. I bite very hard. Joking aside some great folks on the page. Some of which I have gamed with for years and been friends with for even longer. It's such bonds that makes these games that much more enjoyable so leap on the page and I shall refrain from my biting ways. I promise *smiles*

Pretty good introduction in my opinion so you sold yourself short *smiles* Greetings and welcome aboard. Glad to have you with us.
-
Never nothing about an intro as it opens the door to new possibilities and chances to meet someone for the first time. So greetings and welcome. I heard of Forever Knights and think I had a character in there for only a couple of weeks since I had a hard time getting in GW. Very diverse and strong roleplay guild. Glad to have you among us and look forward to seeing you around.
-
Good to see you join us missy even if you are a Spartans fan (Go Illini...even if we aren't that good). Heh, still remember my time as a Wisdom in the Tower. Good times. Hopefully new ones can be made and new bridges of friendship made. Nice to see you again and hopefully will get to run around with you and our friends again... ....but I will not do the sleeping mage tank in a dungeon. I promise

Looks like we have a slim. I didn't even know there were different models til you said something. Shows how much I know on what I spend hundreds of dollars on...

My wife is playing on the PS3 and just plugged a random keyboard we had in. It worked perfectly fine for her typing purposes so you should be okay from our experiences. Still it is a bit annoying to do so and is probably the most silence I have ever got out of my wife *is glad she can't see this* The game also seems to run fine on PS3 but I say the graphics on the PC are much better. Then again I bought a graphics card to run it on max settings. Just sharper images in my opinion. Word of warning to anyone out there....don't rub this in with your significant other if they are something not as strong. You'll pay for it in the end *smiles* As for which server that is all up to you. Both are good, friendly and strong communities. Balamung has legacy and non-legacy folks abound. It is an established community obviously due to this but more than welcoming to any and all. You'll run into more than enough new folks as well. Gilgamesh is the alternate server for new players so a young and growing community. From what I have seen thus far it is also welcoming and engaging with folks looking to lay the building blocks to a strong group of roleplayers. The availability of both I am not overly certain. From posts I have seen they tend to open at intervals so the chance to leap on one should be there more than previously.
-
Welcome aboard. Hopefully I have luck getting on myself since that hasn't been the case for a while now since early access. So going to cast my die and hope for the best and hopefully run into new and friendly faces like yourself. Have fun out there.
-
Greetings and welcome aboard. Always good to see those new to RP ready and willing to step in uncharted waters to bring another level to their gaming. Many friendly folks who are more than willing to lend a hand if you seek. Welcome again and enjoy yourself out there.
-
Welcome aboard, Snibbers. Should we ask where/how you gained that alias? Heh, in any case glad to have you among us.

Greetings back at you. Welcome aboard and always nice to see another long time MMO vet....makes me not feel so old *smiles* Look forward to seeing you around here.
