Currently a level 15 ARC. [Edit] I didn't see the venue. I'm having a bit of difficulty with my story quest so if I don't get my airship pass by then I'll be a level 01 MRD. That's around 6am where I am so I'll try my very best to make it.

IC my character would be an Alchemist. OOC I wanna try going for Bard. :]

In my intro post I mentioned that I've been working on a lalafell character. He was the very first semblance of an oc that I've thought up while acquainting myself with the game's lore. Their race immediately caught my attention and when I got in beta phase 3 (and ofc spent hours in the character creator) I slowly built him up. I even went ahead and drew up character sheets for him complete with expressions, just to get to know him a bit more. He was pretty much set to be rp'd at that point and... I don't know why exactly but I wanted to try out a different race last week and it only took that new character a couple of hours to grow on me. Most of the ideas I had for my lalafell got transferred to this new guy instead. Point is, being meticulous with your character can't be helped as we naturally want a good, solid character to roleplay as well as something we're comfortable in and if you really aren't feeling that miqo'te vibe for your character then go ahead with the necessary adjustments. If you are just bothered by how many miqo'tes there are at present, think of it this way--the things you have in common is just race and maybe appearance too, but peel those outer layers away to reveal that each one is quite different. Choosing to be one won't make your character any less original. :]

And to think I just randomly created him so I can try out the archer class haha. Totally agree with messing around in the character creator. It was a good break from molding my other character--too good even. Your lalafell looks awesome as well. He somehow comes off as a suave kind of guy, I dunno why.

Created this guy this weekend and I ended up liking him.. a lot. Might keep him. Might even make him my main now. Hmm.

Will there be a meet up or something this weekend then?

Hi I'm Nin (and I'm terrible with introductions). I'm new to FFXIV although I've played a couple of MMOs before--Guild Wars 2 (recent), Dragon Nest, SMT: Imagine, Ragnarok Online to name a few. I like to draw and write stories in my spare time. I've rp'ed with a couple of close friends before but I've never tried doing it in a game. I've been meaning to try but I always end up backing out, sitting by the sidelines... watching other.. people.. like a creeper.. -coughs- So! Hopefully I won't chicken out and will join the rp scene here soon. Although I did.. chicken out during the event last weekend haha... so many people I got scared... orz This here's an oc I'm still tweaking. He's around his mid-late twenties. He enjoys planting and raising crops. Has only recently started living on his own. Umm that's all I have right now. still deciding whether or not to keep the beard.. Anyway, nice meeting you all.
