So I've been beating the Balmung Block for roughly about a year now and I still realize that most of my connections have either stopped playing FFXIV completely, or are on new characters with new storylines! Excuse me? Yeah that's right! I'm currently seeking a role player to take the helm of Ryuichi's (ex?)wife. In addition to this I'm comfortable with players altering their history if they wish to take up the task, or making the character their own as long as the history between Ryuichi and them still remains. The characters race, identity of whom they are now, their look, their name and everything else is completely up to you! For this will be a quickfire way for someone to latch hook into a deep storyline! Now for some background: Ryuichi and (proposed name) Shune were descendants from Doma, Shune was part of the Anti-Garlean movement that resided in Doma, that actively helped out Tribes against the threat of the invading Army. It was during the rebellion that Ryuichi and her met, joining each other in companion ship before romance eventually developed and an unofficial marriage were formed. Of course, the Doman Rebellion fell through and Shune and a few others sacrificed themselves on the dock to repel the Garlean Forces whilst the boat and refugees escaped into Eorzea. Ryuichi was among the refugees, and that was the last instance he had seen Shune, presuming her dead. Now, where Shune went, did and became from this point on would be entirely up to you. Hi all, long time Balmung player here! Thought I'd reach out to the community on the forums as opposed to grasping RP in Taverns/Houses and such! RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I can gravitate between Light, Medium and Heavy depending on the situation. As I don't like to spam people with a wall post if in a busy tavern. However if it's in a slightly calmer space I fluctuate between Medium and Heavy, leaning more so on the heavy side. Views on RP combat and injuries: Of course RP Combat opens up different elements of combat impossible via the FF14 fighting system. So I'm absolutely all for RP-Combat! Injuries should be sustained over every scene. And it's a pet peeve of mine for instance to find the person you just mortally wounded to be in the Tavern an hour later, with no wounds. Views on IC romance: It happens, and some serious kickass storylines can come from it. Love that stuff. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Easily these establish bonds between characters without much force. Sort of like a slap on title that grants you to be a jerk toward your sibling. Just kidding, but these can easily build bonds once discovered in RP, Love these too. Views on lore: I don't mind having RP (that of course doesn't intrude on others) that doesn't completely follow the Lore. However I would outright refuse to do an modern Urban RP scene in FF14, sorry but there are other games for that type of stuff that I also do! Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): They are.... useful? Just wish we had more tabs! [*] III.
