I don't know if anyone remembers me or not, because it's been a long, long, long time. I don't plan on leading any linkshells or doing any moderating or anything like that. I don't even plan to RP all that hardcore, and I'm still kind of iffy on the game, but I missed Keir. A lot. I'm still trying to get his old name back.

I've run across many cutscenes and NPCs that use it, though at the moment I couldn't give you exact examples. I'll write 'em down as I come across them.

One thing you have to remember with Miqo'te naming is that unfortunately, you can't add apostrophes into your avatar name, like many Miqo names use. I find this a silly flaw in SE's logic.

Hey guys, I dunno - some of you may remember me. Most probably not. I was the leader of the StormGuard before I pretty much disbanded and fell off the face of the earth due to IRL health issues. The issues are still ongoing, and I'm still experiencing a lot of pain, but I miss the game so much, I'm thinking of getting back into it casually - maybe joining another guild until I have my situation under control enough to lead one again. I'm also looking at starting over with a new character. Possibly. Was hoping if you nice folks could provide me some feedback on the current game atmosphere. What job types have a power vacuum? Races? Backgrounds and histories? Would love to hear from many of you - both old faces and new alike. Thanks much for your help, River (former player of Keir Loell)

At this time, there are no plans for someone else to continue the linkshell. However, maybe sometime in the future the Guard will rebuild. In the meantime, I will be continuing the Guard's story with my own character. It heartens me to hear how much everyone enjoyed the concept of the Order. I know that I've let many people down, and I'm very sorry for that as well. Another time, another year, I would have been able to carry the Guard on for years to come. Right now is just a very bad time for me, and I should have realized that far before I created the concept for the linkshell. It's my failing in that that has brought the Guard to this point. For that reason, I'm rebooting the story, and this time, plan to do it right, slowly working the story through while I recover, and then, perhaps once my health is better, open the story up to more individuals willing to participate.

Due to leadership burn out and continuing health issues, the Order of the Stormguard will be officially disbanded as of January 1st, 2011, with all story regarding the Order rebooted to the time of the Sundering on August 22nd, 2010. Castiel, you may remove us from the list of active linkshells.

Another thing I think that more people in the RPC need to start considering is how many European players we have. I know that I hear a lot of complaints from some of my members about how so many events are planned at inconvenient times for them. It's totally up to you when you want to start the event, but if you do it later in the evening, you're going to effectively cut out a portion of the people that might want to attend.

Announcing that Falcon's Nest in Coerthas is Stormguard's de facto Headquarters. This is only known to certain members of Stormguard, but I figured I'd mention it for the RPC, OOC. We have an IC headquarters nearby, but for game events and meetings and such, we will be using Falcon's Nest.

We are opening all recruiting now, but with the understanding that we will only be holding one initiation ceremony per month, so depending upon when you join, you may not be inducted into the linkshell for a couple of weeks.
