  1. --MMORPG background My MMORPG Backround Started with Final Fantasy XI. I have many Great memories from my time spent in both Slyvestra and Crystalline and alot of laughs. I also had shortly Played Aion but sadly found no RP being done that I knew of. Perhaps I would have found one if I had continued to play. It was never the same though as FFXI. I dearly loved FFXI. I hope I can say the same for XIV one day when I look back. --RP experience Besides experiance with RP in Slyvestra and Crystalline I had previous experiance with a little chat room and Messeage Board RP but never the indepth experiance I had with FFXI. Regardless it was a good start and introduction into Role Play. --Character ideas/info Vana Durga comes from a long line of proud WildWood Elezen. While her Family to this day resides in Gridania Vana had relocated deeper into the woods where she resides in her own cabin. She Takes on the role of Twelveswood Ranger Protecting the forest alongside the Forestborn. Vana Durga Is always acompanied by her companion Hawk. *At this time any Siblings or other relations to Vana besides her Mother and Father are open, So if you would like to involve yurself as either a family member, friend or Foe Please contact me through either AIM or Just PM or E-mail me. --Anything from real life youâre comfortable with sharing, if anything? 2. I can't even recall all of it was so long ago...and yet that name hasn't manage to die yet...I was so close to loosing it too, so close none of the new people would have ever herd of it till someone brought it up.
  3. Well Good news and some slightly not-so good news... I have managed to purchase a laptop. On opening the laptop though and reading the manual i realized i forgot to buy discs to back the factory image up. So now i' have to wait a few days for the disc to come in that I ordered. Hopefully be back to RP soon with any luck.
  4. Nice introduction Crystal! I like the idea of drawing portraits while getting to know others.
  5. ((i'm afraid i have some bad news everyone, my laptop screen just cracked cause i stupidly had it too close to the edge, this was my only computer. right now i have a spare monitor hooked up to the laptop, but i dont have a stable safe place to continue to use it like this. I'm afraid i'll have to go on hiatus for now. Casi please feel free to write me out. I'm so sorry guys hope i can get a new computer but might be very difficult...)) Vana quickly and quietly slipped out of the lair while everyone else was distracted.
  6. ((Sorry everyone I'm afraid I have to close this thread but you welcome to make a new one for The Bismarck.))
  7. The Ranger took the bottle from Ryelle but left it unopened, and set it down on a nearby table. "Vana Durga."nodding her head politely. "I thank you for your assistance back at the tavern and for your hospitality. Surely things will calm down quickly enough and I'm sure we will not trespass on it for too long. The uproar should die down soon enough..." She gently stroked the back feathers of her hawk who examined every new face in the room and studied them intensely.
  8. The Ranger carefully checked her companion for any injuries when she felt a sudden hand on her shoulder, she looked at the hand for a minute before looking up at itâs owner find the same man that had interrupted her conversation earlier with Ryelle in arm. Her hawk also cocking itâs head as he examined the two . âIf it will get me out of this suffocating cityâ¦âShe steped back suddenly as she saw him stumble forwards her hawk spreading his wings a little at the sudden movement of the Elezen. The ranger caught site of the hulking Roegayden and as he spoke she had to make sure to listen carefully as his heavy accent made it easy to think one had misheard what was said. He seemed a decent enough fellow if you looked past the fact he was a pirate but then how many were not pirates in Limsa. . As he offered his arm to her as he finished his little introduction she took it while her hawk settle himself on her free hand. As they gathered together they were approached by another fellow who handed the roegadyn a card. She nodded her own head acknowledging the man. She watched as wandering Lion examined the card which the stranger had given him, glancing around for her aqaintance now further down the side street with the Elezen. She nodded her head to the man as Wandering lion offerd the stranger to wait before heading off with her arm in his.
  9. The Ranger strode quickly as possible out of what was once the Bismarck, behind several coughing survivors from the blaze carrying an unconscious man over one of her shoulders as her hawk rested on the other. she pulled the cloth down from her mouth coughing a bit as she tried to inhale the smokeless air. she laid the man down by the others she had found and lead out. They seemed to be the last few as she found struggling to find their way out in their coughing fits and burning eyes. Knelt down beside them passing a canteen of water from one to another as they panted and tried to clear their lungs. patting one on the shoulder. "Stay here and keep an eye on him" She indicated to the passed out man as she searched out for medical help, Catching sight of a physician that was called to the scene she spoke quickly to him and directed him to the group of people she had led out. Her haw screech lowly and she gently stroked the hawk's head as his feathers started to settle down again.
  10. She never felt the heat envelope her but she did hear loud screams and shouts erupt in the establishment. She pulled the cloak off her and her hawk and came to her feet to see a wall of flame eating away a the wood and the hiss of alcohol feeding it from tipped over and abandoned cups. She looked down at her companion who fluffed his feather and screeched a bit. "He's gone...." She said to her companion. not spotting him anywhere in the building she walked further along the bar edge finding Ryelle. (I understood i think what you meant gaelic i first left it off like that so someone could jump in that might want too before acknowledging him not tossing it at the people at the bar. But I see now that was little confusing leaving it off, so i just posted again to clear it up a little . sorry for the confusion. ))
  11. She Nodded not taking her eyes of her target. "So long as you refrain from digging for information I have no qualm" she drew the bow string closing an eye as she was about to let go she saw the man knock her hawk away and let the arrow cut through the heated air.To her disappointment the the arrow bounced back as it near him. and ricocheted and struck into the ceiling. "Damn!" she cursed abruptly. "Shielded." she whistled sharply. The hawk finding balance back in the air abruptly cocked it head at the whistle and immediately flew back to his companion landing on her shoulder stabling the bow. "Are you alright old friend?" She smiled as he hawk looked at her and screeched a bit indicating that he was perfectly alright but any further attemps to check him would have to wait as she caught the flames in their wicks flickering and the Highlanders blade gather the flames. her eyes narrowed at she watched him gather the flame in a flare of hot energy and dropped her bow arm. She had to think quick as he aimed it directly at her. "Get down both of you!" She yelled at them. running further down the bar she shielded her face for preparation of the hit covering her hawk with her cloak and jumping down behind bar hoping to draw the energy only toward her.
  12. She quickly looked to the Mage hearing him shouting but shook her head and then looked down quickly at Ryelle. She had a better tactical a advantage with her position on top of the bar and it was too dangerous for Ryelle to even chance moving towards the entry. Too much of a risk of a blade to her back. She shouted at Ryelle. "Keep low!" Aiming her arrow at another coming their way. Her companion swooping downward swiftly and clawing at hulking figure's throat. She let the arrow go straight at his exposed throat as the Hawk moved swiftly back up allowing her a clear shot.
  13. It took only a matter of minutes before things turned rather nasty as she saw the man hit the floor with a thud and the glint of red tainted metal leaving the flesh of the man Exposed neck,Chaos quickly ensuing. Catching sight of the Roegadyn reaching out for them the women grabbed her acquaintance by the arm and pulled her quickly out of the reaching Roegadyen path and ran her into the direction of the bar letting go of the other womenâs arm and looking over her shoulder at the oncoming Roegayden . âSo much for getting out of hereâ¦Stay here and try to keep out of the way mâlady.â With that she whispered to her hawk who flapped off her shoulder and immediately dived at the head of the pursuing Roegadyen. The women hopped up on the bar standing and reached back pulling an arrow from her back. she knocked it against the bow aiming straight at the Roegadyen lifting her arm and anchoring her hand against her mouth careful to keep her aim clear from her companion. She dropped her aim then as she caught sight of a fire ball impacting their attacker and her hawk quickly climbing high into the ceiling avoiding the blast. She glanced around toward the area she thought it had come from catching sight of a figure making haste toward the doorway and stumbling over an incoming Lalafell. She turned back quickly aiming her arrow again as she heard her Hawk make a screech and it lunged at another oncoming brute. She let her arrow fly at its next target.
  14. Particularly agitated even further by the rudeness; to not even look at who was addressing him. Insult only further given when the mention of escorts came into the conversation. she frowned disgustedly. Her hawk puffing itâs chest out some ruffling his feathers as he eyed the men at the table. She turned her head to her companion and whispered to him trying to soothe him. Trouble was not what she had come here for but still her acquaintance was correct in saying an apology was owed.
  15. The women smirked slightly as she watched her Companion shrug the offer off. She arched an eyebrow slightly as she caught a slight change in the Elezenâs expression as the mention of trade came up. He was obviously not leaving and his attempt at flattery was beginning to grate on her nerves. Leading her to wondered if her acquaintance was the type of girl to easily buy into such behavior. She listened half there as he began to question Ryelle; Picking up her glass she brought it to her lips to sip at itâs contents when she caught his question about her place in it in which she immediately interruppted to rectify her part in the whole business. âDoes it cross your thoughts that perhaps your unwelcomed into this conversation Sir? If your so curious as to what business is certainly not yours; I have just Met this women and certainly have no intrest in guarding any shipment.I would not waste my time.â With That she excused herself from the table for the time being her Hawk jumping up onto her shoulder as she whent to the bar .
  16. The women nodded curtly to the intruder in response letting her acquaintance continue the talking. She bent her arm slightly lifting it a little more for her companion to inspect the jerky. The Hawk eyed it and then screeched turning its head away disinterested and settled perching on the womenâs gloved hand. She let herself sit back against the chair and sipped her glass. The night was turning out to be a long one and the hope of finishing business and resting before heading home was becoming more of a distant plan. She could still see the waitress fidgeting behind him out of the corner of her eye. Setting her wine glass down she caught sight a of a man at the bar. she hadn't seen him come in and therefore reasoned he must have been seated elsewhere out of sight. She only was half aware of her acquaintance's subject change and had little to say on the matter anyways.
  17. Far from surprised at the sound of a slamming door she picked up her glass of wine and sipped at it slowly. Silence was naught to be had⦠even in this establishment as the door opened yet again.; for the 4th time that evening. She had herd her new aquantances questions but decidedly took her time to answere before they were interrupted by a man with Ryelleâs initial order. She found she had at least one thing in commen with this women; annoyance at the Elezen seating himself at their table and interrupting their peace. She said nothing letting her new acquaintance make her order. She raised an eyebrow herself her companion yet again fluffing itâs feathers and puffing it chest out. He spread his wing span just a little; Watching the man carefully as he cocked his head a little to the side taking measure. Her contact should have been there by now and she was now wondering if they had stood her up. She was specifically given a time and place to meet whoever it was. She watched the doors a little inpatiently as the doors blew open and another Traveler came in . She watched her companion on her arm now cotently settling himself. He too uninterested in the comings and goings . She noticed that the patrons now fixed their sight on an entirely new and unusual sight . A highlander of all people. She looked back at Ryelle as the man quietly found a table far away from all. She wondered if he would have better luck then she. âBy such stares I cannot help but wonder how many of this cityâs inhabitants have ever left the city walls.â she commented. She took a rather slow sip from her glass as she studied Ryelle. She was certainly of upper class breeding and most likely apt to have little care for the consequences of her actions and choices for those around her. So long as she obtained what she desired. Perhaps she would find the opposite but it was unlikely.
  18. With the sudden sound of rain hitting the roof of the tavern a green cloaked figure entered through the doors. It was not a particularly odd occurrence for perfect strangers to pass into the pub but this particular individual was a bit different from most. Perhaps a bit was stretching it as the particular persons garb was certainly out of sort with the typical patrons of establishment. What was perhaps most alarming to the patrons was contently perched on the stranger's arm; a fine hawk. "By the Twelve is it going to eat us?! was heard uttered out loud. patrons pushed back in their chairs at a few tables as other stopped and stared on.A small smirk crossed the the strangers lips as the hooded head slightly shook. The barkeep looked up from polishing crystal to see what all the fuss had been about. He immediately spoke up at sight of the bird and reproached the green cloaked figuer. âYou cannot bring that creature in here stranger. This is a tavern not a hunting lodgeâ¦â The stranger lifted a damp gloved hand to the hood of the cloak and pulled it back to reveal a fair skinned brunette woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties. âThis creature is my companion and he will remain with me. Understood?â said she firmly. The barkeep, obviously displeased by the reply, stepped into the womanâs path. âEither the bird leaves or you both leave, Ma'am.â âI will do no such thing. Times are hard and I am certain not even you can afford to turn away patrons. So my companion remains or Iâll take my leave, there are plenty other places in this city who are more willing to serve all customers. Now if itâs not too much trouble I would like a glass of wine, Thank you.â With that she pushed past the dumbfounded barkeep who staggered a bit as she passed by. She heard him say no more and found a quiet corner table to sit. Out of the corner of her blue eyes she saw the bar keep preparing her glass of wine, grumbling all the while to himself. She looked at her companion lovingly and pressed a soft kiss to the hawk's head as they settled themselves comfortably. She murmured quietly to the hawk; the bird listened intently. âI do not care for this place either, my Love, but we have been asked here. As soon as we are done. we'll leave as soon as possible.â The Hawk fluffed itâs feathers then preening himself as a waitress approached their table. The Hawk stopped and puffed its chest, out keeping its eyes on the waitress as she placed the glass of wine down carefully, obviously skittish of the hawk as well. A curious thought struck her.Had these people ever stepped out of their city onto other lands besides the sea? âItâs alright my love.â The Hawk settled as she stroked the bird's back comfortingly. The waitress slowly backed away from them.
  19. Wow...If that ego grows any bigger I promise it will pop like bomb:P However now you've might have just challenged me to maybe make a character you can't drive mad I'll suppose we'll have to wait and see just what I decide to do.
  20. I think it's a great idea, but i agree it be best to wait and let the game go live first
  21. Endinka did. If you made her angry you could often hear her saying "Great Goddess" or "For goddesse sake" or" I swear by Altana" thought I think i recall her using the first two the most. I'm sure her cousin would have scolded her if she had ever herd Endi saying those things; since her cousin was a priestess afterall.
  22. Hey Rihan , Not much dealing with my poor right hand, been not so good lately (remind myself to skewer Rau) Tyriont, Your already plotting to torment me already? Such love.... Kes, Oh dear. she's going to be very different from her father then I'm guessing. But then this is only if I make a character like her. Though from the responses thus far it dosen't seem that an Endi like character would be unwelcomed?
