Branson Thorne Posted March 17, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 17, 2015 I could of sworn there was a post here somewhere with different formats for giving details about your character. But now that I'm actually going to dedicate time to finally fleshing out and finalizing my character, I cant find it anywhere. Any help is appreciated! Also, how hard are these things? This will be my first time attempting this. Link to comment
C'kayah Polaali Posted March 17, 2015 Share #2 Posted March 17, 2015 You're welcome to grab mine. I like it because it's got relatively little HTML formatting, which makes it pretty easy to edit. Link to comment
Gegenji Posted March 17, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 17, 2015 I basically trolled around for styles I liked, hit "edit" to see their code for the bits that caught my eye... and just jacked it wholesale (thanking them at the bottom of my wiki, of course). It was my first real attempt at wikicode, and I like to think it came out... okay. I don't have any big bells and whistles, but it does what I need it to do. So, I'm sure you'll be able to manage something nice too. Link to comment

I'm such a scrub..... Link to comment
Unnamed Mercenary Posted March 17, 2015 Share #5 Posted March 17, 2015 Feel free to steal borrow anything in mine, if you like the layout. I've made use of some code from others as well. (I don't have a wikitable addiction, I swear) Link to comment
Branson Thorne Posted March 17, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted March 17, 2015 Anyone want to check it out and see if it's suitable to be posted? Link to comment

Unnamed Mercenary Posted March 17, 2015 Share #8 Posted March 17, 2015 Anyone want to check it out and see if it's suitable to be posted? Looks great? *places a stamp of approval* Do you have a link? I can't find you on the wiki He's got it as a user page. My only recommendation would be to make a redirect from the easier entry. (Or I can make one if it sounds difficult) Link to comment

Unnamed Mercenary Posted March 17, 2015 Share #14 Posted March 17, 2015 How do I remove the "User:" part? It's a distinction between what would be a "Manasas Reed" wiki page and the user account User:Manasas_Reed. You can make a redirect with "#REDIRECT [[PAGENAME]]" on your user page to point to a wiki page, or in the other direction too. Alternatively, do a "search" for your character, click on the red line for his name, and just past all the code from your User: page in. Easiest method if you don't want to worry about redirects.
