HoD Scavenger Hunt! (sign up, rule change!)

[align=center]It's spring time once again! What better way to celebrate than by having a scavenger hunt![/align]

[align=center]Join us at the Harbinger's estate at Lavender Beds, ward five, plot fifty-eight and wander the world answering riddles and rhymes for the grand prize![/align]

 

 

[align=center]Sign-up to solve the rhymes. The first three individuals win a prize pool, with the first one back winning the bigger portion! Five rhymes to solve in all, so make sure to bring your thinking caps![/align]

(( Join us at the HoD manor in the yard on April 3rd at 9pm EST. Rhymes and riddles will be given then, and you must sign up by April 2nd at 11:59pm EST, because of lack of sign-ups, if you can make it then you can sign up anyway. Some rhymes require bringing items to a given spot, others will require naming or solving riddles!))

Question! If we still do have teammates in mind, can we still sign up as premade groups? o:

 

(We've been working on a group but between RL hectic-ness and forgetful minds, we were still working on filling our last two spots. xD)

I think what might be better for you guys is to break up and do it individually. The top three people still get the prize pot, and you won't have to worry about filling those last two slots. I figured after a week and a half, people were just having a hard time finding team mates, so I changed the rule so people can do it if they don't have a full team. You guys can still split the pot (it'll be yours after all) or you may even be able to get top three.

C-Can I maybe sign Xavarian up for this? Because, oh my gods, rhymes and riddles are his thing though navigation throughout the world is definitely not. *laughs and sobs quietly*

 

... Regardless it sounds like this would be definitely fun to play out.

 

I am not entirely sure what my schedule will be like tomorrow (this is my first time seeing this, idk how I missed this post) but I will definitely try to attend if I can. uvu

Thanks to my helpers:

The winners were:

Raisan Arcmantle - First place!

Cliodhna Eoghan - Second place!

Xavarian Mystrife - Third place!

 

 

And the rhymes were: 

 

1 ) Roses are red,

Faye is fair,

at Fury's tower you'll find her there,

bring her the rose's head

giving you the next rhyme if she'll care.

 

 

 

 

2) Lilia Lia is tough and fickle,

But she might not be if you answer this riddle,

'If you have me, you want to share me. If you share me, you haven't got me. What am I?'

Figure out the answer and find her in the chasm

Where a dragon had its last spasm.

 

 

3) Rosalin as sweet as her name,

Rejoice! For you're halfway in the game,

Bring her the strongest of woven webs,

To where the well of the goddess of abundance ebbs.

 

 

 

 

4) Oh a flower's name,

and an inn by the same.

Say the flower that Figaga loved

To Zhan'a at the Wanderer's flame.

 

 

5) Where we began is where we'll end,

Arrelaine waits for you just beyond the bend,

But wait! You must answer her this:

'Who is the king of kings in legend,

And name the thing that felled him in the land of crystals.'

Belated thanks for doing this!

 

... This was the first event my character actually made it to without getting entirely lost / being late / having some weird thing befall him between where he was and the event destination (he has the worst luck) , and even though it was small in attendance (more people should totally do it next time; there were IG prizes that I am still surprised about), it was well-thought out and fun. uvu

 

Xavarian didn't know any of the others involved, but it was neat to briefly see glimpses of all the other personalities too. *u* Nevermind the small adventures of finding a thing and going from one place to the next. ... I honestly hope they didn't have to wait too long for the ever lost duskwight in the end. *awkward laughter*

Hehehe, there were times my help were like 'where's the other guy???' lol I'm glad you had fun though, I hope it was still a bit challenging with the rhymes. I tried to make all of them lore-based and for travelers to  know, people that have been to a lot of places IC.
