Warren Castille Posted April 27, 2015 Share #28 Posted April 27, 2015 Putting on my tinfoil to hope that PLD (and maybe WAR) gets an ability to let shield-lob trigger combos. There had to be a deliberate reason they showed that sequence, right? Edit: I'm ready. Link to comment
Aduu Avagnar Posted April 27, 2015 Share #29 Posted April 27, 2015 I got 7K, which was considered extremely high.... I need a new pc though, or rather, a new HDD with windows 7 and about 6GB more of RAM.... damn this Vista 32bit backup HDD.... Link to comment
allgivenover Posted April 27, 2015 Author Share #30 Posted April 27, 2015 980 only gets you 1000 more points paired with an i7. Ouch. Glad I went i5/970 Link to comment
Star Lin Posted April 27, 2015 Share #31 Posted April 27, 2015 So, I couldn't get screenshots of my score for the benchmark so I'm posting what I did and didn't do here. All I'll say is that it was weird what I got for some of the settings. Honestly, I don't know what to think about what I've been getting but from the looks of it, I'll probably stick with Directx 9. Standard Laptop (some graphics set on high) 1920x1080 DirectX 11 Score 1837 Slightly Low Standard Laptop (no changes done to Graphics)1920x1080 DirectX 11 Score 3021 Fairly High Standard Laptop (no changes done to the Graphics) 1280x720 DirectX 9 Score 6944 Very High High laptop (no changes on Graphics) 1280x720 DirectX 9 Score 3357 Fairly High. High laptop (no changes on Graphics 1920x1080 DirectX 11 Score 1699 Slightly Low Maximum (just for the shizz and giggles) 1920x1080 DirectX 11 Score 1116 Low Maximum (again for the giggles) 1280x720 DirectX 9 Score 3219 Fairly High Link to comment
Gegenji Posted April 27, 2015 Share #32 Posted April 27, 2015 Scored Extremely High (14552) on DX11 Laptop: High. Maximum settings? Still Extremely High (13808). Also, have a DRK glower. Link to comment

There had to be a deliberate reason they showed that sequence, right? Honestly after re-doing it at 1900x1080 Maximum, I think that's the case. They may straight up be getting rid of Fast Blade or adding that functionality to Shield Lob. If you guys get that can we get that for Tomahawk? Link to comment

Would definitely smooth out generating snap-enmity if it isn't Riot-specific. Also telling, he immediately uses that vertical cleave thingy following Riot Blade. Maybe PLD's getting their second combo! Link to comment

Melkire Posted April 27, 2015 Share #37 Posted April 27, 2015 I thought that was Spirits Within, not Riot Blade. :surprise: It's Riot Blade, which is a straightforward stab. Spirits Within has a roundhouse spin and a twist of the wrist. Link to comment

Let's push the conspiracy further - It'll apply Storm's Path debuff so off-tank PLDs can also offer two debuffs. Link to comment
Spethah Posted April 28, 2015 Share #39 Posted April 28, 2015 Standard Laptop, 1600x900 windowed, DX9 = 2222 Standard Laptop, 1600x900 windowed, DX11 = 1788 I'm stuck with a PC that can barely run this game a for a year and a half unless I starve myself. Guh, I'll never see the pretty graphics. The benchmark video for me was nothing but a stutterfest and I couldn't see anything at all. Thank goodness SE put up the video of I'd be lost to what you're all talking about. Link to comment
D'aito Kuji Posted April 28, 2015 Share #40 Posted April 28, 2015 My aging Asus RoG laptop is still making things work with it's NVIDIA 560m. That was good cheer like three years ago but it's showing it's age. I got a "High" score after I switched to DirectX9 and changed one of the graphics settings (can't remember which). I would really like to see what the game looks like with a more powerful system. But I don't have the money. Still very glad to see that I can play Heavensward, if I ever manage to level up.
