Jean L Posted July 6, 2015 Share #26 Posted July 6, 2015 Jade tends to put people on a pedestal and gets overwhelmed when they don't live up to his standards. He tends to use people he doesn't know too easily and has made someone else take the fall while he's made an escape. NO SENSE OF DIRECTION AT ALL. Lastly, and probably the most damming for him, he carries grudges way too easy. Link to comment
LadyRochester Posted July 6, 2015 Share #27 Posted July 6, 2015 Phew! Where to start? She has more flaws than positive traits, or at least seems to. Here we go: She's highly irresponsible: Work? What is this blasphemy!? She can't work. Work is for poor people! All the dirty jobs and responsabilities she has to accomplish are always dumped on someone else she hires or sways. Unless it has to do with her research, she really wants nothing to do with it. She's self-destructive and mildly obsessive: She has one priority, her pursuit of knowledge. Everything else comes second. Deep inside, she doesn't care about herself at all, and she hardly seems to care about what others would go through should she die. She lives inside a bubble where all she sees is "lalala I can do whatever I want and everyone is happy lalala" She's hypocritical and reckless: She always frowns upon those who would be quick to throw away their lives for causes she deems "unworthy". To her, nothing is worth dying for--Unless you're her, of course. She's manipulative and (usually) selfish: People are tools, tools that are meant to help her achieve her ends. She's distrustful and cynical to the core: Tear down one of her masks and you will only find another. In her eyes, everyone is out to harm her, so she will put up endless walls. She's secretive and scheming: She always has a plan, amd she keeps quite a few skeletons in her closet. Are you close to her? Chances are she already has plotted a plan to ruin or terminate you, should you betray her (or become a problem.) I made her sound awful, but she does have a few redeeming qualities. It all ties down to the fact she's just a child who fears losing her freedom or having to cope with more pain and guilt. She's a true neutral character, so while she does a lot of morally questionable things, she tries to avoid harming others if she can, and frowns upon cruelty. Link to comment
Viola Posted July 6, 2015 Share #28 Posted July 6, 2015 Viola's not one for words; she's graceful yet to the point. Due to her quiet nature, she doesn't often engage in conversation if at all unless it's with her "father". Though her biggest problem is her quick-to-engage-into-violence personality. Despite years of mental conditioning, her will to kill hasn't been extinguished one bit. To make matters worse, her interactions with others is very limited. That isn't to say she's constantly thinking about the next kill; she's usually thinking of where to find her next point in her objectives and these often thoughts can lead her wanderings into places she wasn't exactly looking for. Gwenneth Posted July 6, 2015 Share #29 Posted July 6, 2015 Reima is...too trusting to a fault, and leaves herself open to being taken advantage of by those who would exploit her kindness.. In her desire to make those around her happy, she usually ends up forgetting her own wants and needs, and ends up becoming the proverbial doormat or running herself ragged in the process. She prefers to bottle up her own troubles so as not to “burden others”, which leads to depression and anxiety and perpetuates the issue. She has, admittedly, a difficult time managing her stress and will seek solitude before assistance. She can be infuriatingly headstrong, especially when it comes to aiding others or in doing what she feels to be right, and is like to put herself straight in the path of danger through her good intentions. Once she gets an idea in her head or finds something to cling to and fight for, it’s difficult to make her budge on the matter without protest. On the other hand, shyness and bouts of uncertainty will keep many of her thoughts internalized. Some also find Reima to be too cheerful to the point of being absurd, and assume that she’s just running from reality. Link to comment
Ashe Posted July 7, 2015 Share #30 Posted July 7, 2015 Lawlz Ashe... Uuuuh. 1) He's half blind. He can see aether out of that eye but it's essentially a blind spot in any normal combat. 2) He's a mage who doesn't have an inherent ability to use magic (not naturally talented). He casts like a Black Mage (which is bad) and is aware of his weakness as a mage. 3) He's stupidly booksmart but has the common sense of a 5 year old. He is impulsive in his decision making which has gotten him and others almost killed because of his mistakes. He's the type of person who would sell his soul to a voidsent just to see what would happen (which has happened....). 4) He's kind of a hypocrite. He will call others out for their faults even though he probably did the same thing 5 minutes ago. 5) Controlling...he doesn't know how to express himself well and doesn't know how to act around people he is supposedly close to. He will try to control them because of that...and get mad when they don't act like how he wanted them to. The list goes on but I can't do words right now. Link to comment
-no longer matters- Posted July 7, 2015 Share #31 Posted July 7, 2015 War Siren's are fun. -Sarcasm is her primary language when she does speak. She's older (38) and has been through a lot of the worlds major events the past 20 years. So she's a bit cynical and sharp with the tongue, makes her seem a bit unapproachable at times especially to the thin skinned. -Nicknames, are you an Acquaintance, Friend, Enemy etc?.. Guess what like it or not you're getting a nickname. It's how she remembers people. A lot of people don't like having Nicknames. -Bullheaded when she set's her sights on a path it takes a lot to sway her off it. Link to comment

Blue Posted July 7, 2015 Share #34 Posted July 7, 2015 Jet'a's: - Xenophobic, involving all its variations (racism, omophobia, distaste for inter-racial/inter-clan relationships, etc.). - Highly judgemental. - Introvert. - Asocial. - No sense of humor. Blue's: - Overly naive. - Incapable of reading expressions. - Scarce understanding of social conventions. - Has no filters whatsoever. - Physically weak on all fronts. Ask her to lift a crate and it'll be like she caressed it. Link to comment
Hali Posted July 13, 2015 Share #35 Posted July 13, 2015 Corelyn is paranoid, to an extent. She hides the fact that she's a pure-blooded Garlean in any way possible, because she's deathly afraid of being found out. While she means no harm to - in fact, she wants nothing more than to help - Eorzea and its people, she fears that being found out - especially about certain aspects of her past (she was "forced", more or less, into the VIIth Legion and fought at Carteneau), would get her outright reviled or attacked. She's immensely afraid of undead. She's prone to either fits of catatonia or murderous sprees of "make everything stop moving" if anything undead or resembling one gets too close or touches her. Being Garlean, she's entirely unable to manipulate aether in any form. While she appears to have an ability to teleport through aetherites, it's actually a one-way return to her workshop in La Noscea through magitek. She has attempted arcanima severalk times with the use of a ceruleum-based ink, but not only is it far too expensive to be useful, it's very volatile. She's blown things up by accident with it before in her 'experiments." She's a little too bold sometimes in the search for knowledge. This has gotten her in trouble before, and hired help/bodyguards hurt or even outright killed in some cases. This is partially due to her attempts at playing off the "helpless researcher" front to avoid using her firearms or gunblade, due to aforementioned paranoia. Corelyn has trouble understanding a good deal of Eorzean customs, being born and raised in Garlemald. While she detests the Empire and its search of conquest, she is still proud of her home for what they have accomplished without the need of magic or aether-based abilities. She also catches herself seeing people as "brutes" or "savages" a bit too often and has to mentally correct herself. It's very difficult for her to "dumb things down" for people when explaining how things work. If not just for having been irritated that she must explain to someone, it will be because she simply hates to think of anything on such a broad scale so as to leave out details she views as important. Sylentmana Posted July 14, 2015 Share #36 Posted July 14, 2015 Let's see: Makoto is very quiet and suffers social anxiety. As a result she prefers to be alone with her studies. While she puts on polite a demeanor and generally tries to adhere to socially acceptable behavior, her true self is short-tempered, impatient, foul-mouthed, selfish, and cynical. She's careful to never let others see this side of her, though. Link to comment

Sigil.9054 Posted July 15, 2015 Share #38 Posted July 15, 2015 Seldi's flaws? - Because of her isolated upbringing, she has poor social skills and an almost non-existent awareness of cultural norms. She means well, but trying to get that across is difficult, and she'll find herself apologizing a lot around sensitive souls. - She's deaf in her right ear. She was born this way, preventing healing magic from restoring her hearing. - She has good night vision, like most Keepers, but take away something to shield her eyes (Like her hat), and she's practically blind in direct sunlight. Jancis Posted July 15, 2015 Share #39 Posted July 15, 2015 These flaws are great! Love reading through them. Jancis: Honest: It's a difficult role to play, but Jancis is honest to a fault. She will not lie or tell a half-truth. The best she can do is not bring up a topic unless asked. She also complains and isn't cooperative if someone wants her to lie or is lying, calling them out and then correcting their words. Trusting: While someone have to give trust to earn trust, it makes her a pushover when given to the wrong people. Unless it's overly clear she thinks the best of everyone and their intentions, believing them to be the victims of misfortune or simply their good attempts failed. In very few cases has she deemed someone beyond mortal abilities to save from corruption. Money: Not growing up with gil, and seeing it as the useless material it is made out of doesn't really give it any value beyond what people tell her. She can't haggle and always overpays. Fearless: Another hard thing to role play for me, this conjurer will come forward to defend someone, run up to help someone, reach out and touch things that could be dangerous. It's without a second thought. Healer/Un-hardened: Being sensitive to others have made her overly-sensitive. Her hands are kept soft and able to feel problems, but that also leaves them prone to wounds and blisters that are not allowed to callus over so it happens over and over. Hot food is hot. Bitter things are bitter. Spicy foods are spicy! She will cry out when wounded and the only hardened part of her is her mind which endures it. 1 Link to comment
