I don't kill characters so much as forget about them. A lot get altered in time but I think my character Beelze is probably my longest lived OC. He never even really changed much over the years, was always a child and a demon with a heart of gold. I just really wanted a demon character, I was inspired at first to make a creepy looking kid OC after reading monster for the first time but me being me I wound up adding a supernatural element to him.

My character ICly isn't a craftsman at all (unless you want to learn how to distill moonshine in a tub...) but he does masquerade as a courtesan, and he's very much involved in the underworld. Feel free to hit me up on discord for more details, I'd love to get some ideas. I'm viktoria #0685.

I lucked out and Jean looks more or less in his early 30s. For my Elezen who's fat I have it in his description and pray people read it. I try to bring it up in narrative, but it gets a bit tedious if people ignore it.

Sidurgu and the Orl tribe of Xaela came to Coerthas fleeing Garlean-occupied Othard. They arrived in 1562, fifteen years ago, which followed a recent resurgence of Dravanian attacks following the 8th Awakening of Nidhogg. During this 8th Awakening, Nidhogg razed several Coerthan hamlets, including Ferndale. There is some contention over the exact date, however. Part of the lore book and in game lore dates this attack at 1557, while the Encyclopedia's timeline erroneously lists the attack as having occurred in 1562. In any case, this would've been a terrible time period for anyone/anything with scales to arrive in Ishgard. I'm actually going through the DRK questline right now. Sid's words are what made me wonder how relationships with Au Ra with other races would be frowned on in Ishgard especially. Given this information I'm guessing it'd be fair to assume someone non-Au Ra being in a relationship with an Au Ra would be viewed as a traitor by some of the less understanding, extreme members of Ishgard.

I play a fellow shady type that's mostly an info broker/spy. I'm on PST but I'm a night owl so I'm up a lot at EU times.

I mean I RP a Hyur most of the time and my other character is an alt that I rarely RP with who's an Au Ra who WOULD experience prejudice from Ishgardians. Jean also is in a relationship with an Au Ra while also being from Ishgard so I'd imagine that his taste in partners would be met with outright hate. I'm wondering if it would be viewed as heretical to be with an Au Ra in Ishgard?

I have an Elezen I want to throw into Ishgard ASAP and very little motivation to redo 2.x MSQ. Needless to say, yes, I'm pretty excited for this feature so I can finally play around with him and re-experience 3.x since doing it twice wasn't enough for me. Won't be using the job ones since leveling up a job is for me to learn but say if I wanted to re-level something I already did on my alt or visa-versa I'd MAYBE use it. (doubtful)

Jean's a bit of a dirty fighter. He fist fights, sure, but he also bites ears scratches eyes kicks the groin, basically his style is a flailing angry mess hell bent and coming out alive.

FRENEMIES! I'm also just getting my feet off the ground for my new character. Lets have two very blunt, very bewildered people get together sometime. My own character is bossy, blunt, insecure, and short tempered to boot. I feel like Syndra and Jean would clash delightfully. I have twitter and discord as well but skype hates my computer. (I'm always down for RPing in game, in-party is how I prefer to go to. But I'd also be up for discord.)

Chocobo care. It's something he's read up about in-depth but would never, ever admit to it. He even bought high quality tools for caring for them. Also how much he knows about plants especially poisonous ones. He really doesn't like people thinking that he's smart for whatever reason.

I had an rp blog on Tumblr when I first started RPing FFXIV but then I stopped, revamped Jade, and lost the login info. I've also used an RP blog for Skyrim OCs. It's a pretty convenient medium for roleplay I find. (I really ought to make a new one...)
