Hey folks. I've been on Balmung for nearly a year, and have been rping for most of that time.  However, my circle of friends hardly stretches outside of my FC, and I'm trying, (Again.) to change that.  So, here it goes...

 

 

 

I'm a 23 year old college  student from East Tennessee, studying to be a high school science teacher. I enjoy this game a little to much, sometimes at the detriment of my studies. (I'm the worst kind of procrastinator: in fact i'm procrastinating right now. Go figure.)  My Fiancee is the lovely Shoshopu, who will likely point out I'm taking the personal sharing a little to far here whenever she see's this.  

 

 

 

My Rp style is typically short, sweet, and to the point. I dont like a short conversation going on for three hours simply because someone wants to talk about how their characters eyes are twinkling like fireflies in the moonlight or something. I appreciate, and will even do this in the right situations, but if they're just bumping into one another on the street, I'd wrather not.

 

I'm open for pretty much any kind of rp, so long as its right for the character involved. (I've no problem with E/M Rp, but I prefer it to be for the development of a character, and not just because I wana pretend to bang.

Fyrilsunn is a large, quiet, axe wielding Roegadyn from Limsa Lominsa.  

 

He began his life as an apprentice to his father, a shipwright.  At the age of nineteen, the war with Garlemald broke out, and he signed up with a privateer vessel under the Maelstroms banner, where he served as the ships carpenter for nearly twelve cycles before the ship was sunk during the Calamity.  In order to keep coin flowing, he took his axe and turned to adventuring, before finally signing on with the Maelstrom's 81'st foreign levy, where he currently serves.  However, he has been known to take up independent work, if the cause is just, or the coin right.  

 

He's kind hearted, and will often do a job simply because the people are in need, refusing anything but hospitality as payment. However, spending most of his adult life fighting has left its scars upon him, resulting in a penchant for strong drink, and a sort of resigned melancholy that often dominates his mood.  

 

You might know Fyril if:

  • You have need for a strong, reliable adventurer
  • You have ever lived in or around La Noscea
  • You have ever served in the Maelstrom
  • You frequent just about any tavern/inn in Eorzea

Jujuwai is a friendly little lalafell from Thanalan.  He was raised in a nomadic lifestyle, along with his large family.  He's fairly flirty, but whenever he finds he actually LIKES a person like that, he gets too nervous to actually flirt.  

 

He had always been a curious child, a trait that led him to be fascinated with magitek.  He studied under a Ironworks engineer for four years after the Calamity, and currently resides as an engineer within the Innovation Team for the Maelstrom 81'st. Whenever he strays from his workshop, its usually to test inventions or to search for new texts, documents or inspiration.  

 

You might know Jujuwai if:

  • You live/lived in Thanalan at any point in the past 26 years
  • You've a connection to the Ironworks
  • You frequent any centers for knowledge

Seems that you are a perfectly reasonable sort. I have been rping in tsw for the last few years and have just begun my character's adventures in Eorzea. So it maybe that your search for rp contacts could be to our mutual benefit. Send me a PM here if your post hasn't already set your friends list overflowing.

It's not hard to believe that Glazwyb and Fyrilsunn might have seen one another, especially with how often she visits the Drowning Wench. If I see your character around I'll be sure to have Glaz glare at him suspiciously or some such thing.

I... guess I can work with that.

Shoshopu's already had some interaction with Gogon (and I think you were there, two Roes flanking her, I recall!) after the last Runestone, and that was quite fun. I'm looking forward to the next time they cross paths, whether it be at the next Runestone or prior to that. Hopefully we can have some interaction with your character as well. And Chachan's always available to hang out with if you'd prefer less of a grumpy Gus. :lol:

Haha yeah those two Roes were Fyrilsunn and me!

I've seen you guys around. I live in the same ward. If you want an awkward exchange or two that might turn into friendship (?) then just let me know.

Sounds like a thing that could totaly happen.

Theres entirely a good chance we'll be at the next Runestone. (Also a good chance we'll not be, but we'll see how work schedules work out.)
