The new Jobclass sets - HQ images of them?

I'll be honest, most of these make me want to dry-heave.

 

Monk set would have been better without the stupid arm-paint and that flower pattern on the pants though.

And how does one obtain those tomestones? I hope its not a raid thing since I can't really participate in those effectively.

The level 60 dungeons and raids, along with the daily roulettes, all provide Esoteric tomestones. You can hold a maximum of 2000, and you have a hard cap of being able to collect 450 a week. If you do the Expert roulette regularly, you should easily be able to hit the weekly cap on a consistent basis.

After a guildie helped me preview the armors last night, I couldn't find any gender differences besides white mage on the armor. The men have bloomers and women have a mini skirt with super high boots that mostly cover the legs. Didn't see any other differences, previewing mostly DoW classes.

To the above, I kinda like that there is no difference in the AST particularly, it is still very dress robe, and it still has the face veil which is kinda sweet.

 

I actually really like all the new gear!  I personally think that WHM could at some point do with a more "wild" or "natural" aesthetic considering the feel of the job and it's lore, but of course I get the feeling that this armor is very HWesque and communicates that in all the designs.  I am a SMN main, so I am really happy because one-shoulderness is happening for us, and the armor really has a great old FF feel too!

 

Another set I really liked that seems to be getting flack for nothing, is the awesome BRD set!  I have simultaneously heard that is too bard like or too desert archer like...I think it just plain looks awesome, and that the weapon is suuuuper cool 8-):love::love::love:

Momo, do you know if you can /visor the veil on the AST set?

I asked a friend who has the AST hat, it seems that yes you can /visor it!  I dunno why you would ever want to, I know I never would, but it is nice to have that option! (not that I even have AST open...enough to do as is...>,<)

Hm, I kind of like that bard set, but for my ninja I like playing my ninja as more of a rogue, with a dervish/roguish style. The gloam coat is still one of my favorite looks for him. I haven't seen all the top armor, but I'm mostly looking forward to the chivalic coat in white.
