balmung Looking to join an Order of Knights type of FC

Hello there!

 

 

Let me begin by saying that currently, I'm looking to make a rather large decision on if I want to transfer from Siren to Balmung. The large RP community does have it's perks, and My friends are also all starting to slowly transfer over.

 

 

At the end of the day, my decision will be based on this:

 

 

I would very much love to find an 'Order of Knights' type of RP group or FC. Does an Order like this exist on Balmung that's active? 

 

 

Come tell me about it! Give me a reason to make the jump to Balmung.

 

 

A little about my character: Growing up, she was always forced into the 'Lady of the Court' stereotype by her family. In her family, the men were warriors and the women were Ladies. Mal defied that stereotype at every turn, taught herself combat in secret, and ran away from home at 18. She has a determination to achieve her goals and though she often can treat others with cold distaste, she has a hero's heart and will defend those who need defending. 

 

 

The only kind of group I can really see fitting into and flourishing with is a Knight's Order, which is why I'm really interested in seeing if such a group exists on Balmung.

 

 

So come, dear friends! Toss me breadcrumbs toward such an Order.

Going on a limb by your profile picture and your backstory, you wish to be Ishgardian. While I can't speak for a specific order or chapter of knights FC or LS, I can say there is a very extensive and all encompassing Ishgard LS ran by Virella Duront that you should look into.

I, too, recommend Ishgard RP.

 

I run a mercenary company with a strict code of conduct ICly etc. I'm, personally, not aware of any Knighthood orders.

Hey there! Welcome (potentially) to you and your friends! That said, I also don't know of any specific knightly order FCs but that doesn't mean you guys can't step in and fill that void either!

While my character has little to do with Ishgard, I may set up a knightly FC at some point once I've gathered enough money to also compensate for the loss of my private residence.

 

I fear other than the above mentioned linkshell, there are no chivalrous FC's at all. At least none I am aware of.

 

Regardless, we should meet sometime. I'm dying to meet another knight!

There are two options really. Ishgard or Ul'dah. Ishgard's knights are the more traditional 'holy order' while U'dah's Sultansworn are this world's Paladins. Both are still orders of knighthood, but one serves Halone and the other serves the Sultana.
