Yes, we were a little bit understaffed this time - it's very hard to predict how many people will be coming to us. Apologies if it felt somewhat brisk, but I'm happy to hear it was otherwise pleasant! Honestly, that Hostess was new, haha. Usually the conversation lasts for as long as people want it to last, but since we had a couple of extra Guests who didn't have Hosts left to seat them, she probably misinterpreted my call for Hosts to help them when they were finished as a queue to wrap up. So what you're describing is pretty unusual, really! Sometimes Hosts have entertained for up to 4-5 hours! But it's just how it ended up this time. *rolls about uselessly* Link to comment
