Kieron Lohengrin Posted June 29, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2017 Specifically, different players writing to each other in forum / blog posts even while their respective toons are on different servers. You never meet ingame but maintain a shared narrative of your characters' daily lives. Does anyone do this? Link to comment
Kallera Posted June 29, 2017 Share #2 Posted June 29, 2017 I've done this before wih someone, at least for one particular session, I would like to try it again sometime. Link to comment
Zhavi Posted June 29, 2017 Share #3 Posted June 29, 2017 I used to! There are people open to it, but I found that approaching folks via pm was my most successful way to acquire forum rp buddies. A making connections thread would likely work, too! The wiki is a good way to find characters that interest you (I sort by recent changes so I know the player/character are still active), then you just send a pm to the account that made/edits the page. Kailani Posted June 29, 2017 Share #4 Posted June 29, 2017 Not for FFXIV, but I've done this before for writing in past relationships or experiences for my characters that I play in present day settings. That or missions where my character is MIA presently in RP, but is out in the world doing things. I love forum and out of game RP because of the detail and time you can put into it. It's a great thing to do if you find the right people. Link to comment
