Ronberku Posted May 30, 2013 Share #1 Posted May 30, 2013 Something that pleasantly surprised me during the live letter. Facial emotes for characters. Yoshi-p even mentioned that it is something useful for the roleplayers. Makes me wonder what the other facial emotes are. But I really appreciate it that Yoshi-P and the crew even thinks about minor details like this to add to our immersion. Link to comment

CassandraJean Posted May 30, 2013 Share #9 Posted May 30, 2013 hey! I managed to convince someone to translate all the emotes for me, in case you guys are interested...! すごくがっかりする - super disappointed/dejected 不満を表す - express dissatisfaction よろめく- to stagger 問い詰める - to press a question/ cross-examine ポーズをとる - lit. "to take a pose" so prob "strike a pose" 考える - to consider/think 座る - to sit 引用 - quotation/reference すねる - to pout/sulk 呆れる - to be amazed -> like rendered speechless or those times when you're like "well damn!" 肩をすくめる - to shrug おどろく - surprised 土下座 - dogeza like.. um, have you seen in anime when people bow on the floor? i guess like when you prostrate yourself in front of a king or sth. haha sorry, translating is kind of hard 手まねきする - to beckon 自分を見る - to look at oneself (i see myself) 居眠りする - to nod/doze off つつく- to poke/prod 見わたす - to survey (a scene) アピール - lit. english "appeal" 表情:素顔 - frankness/face with no makeup 表情:笑顔 - smiling 表情:不敵 - daring, bold 表情:泣き顔 - crying 表情:呆然 - dumbfounded 表情:不機嫌 - pout/displeasure/sullen 表情:心配 - worried 表情:微笑 - smile 表情:自信 - confident 表情:瞑目 - closing eyes 表情:恐怖 - panic/horror/fear 表情:激痛 - sharp pain 表情:感知 - perception/sensing/noticing (lit. "feel" "know") Link to comment

Beta phase 3 can't come any sooner. Link to comment
Ryanti Posted May 31, 2013 Share #13 Posted May 31, 2013 That is... awesome. The fact that the devs are implementing things for minority groups such as us. That's a show of care and respect for them and I give it right back to them. Somebody has to teach me how to make macros now. :moogle: Link to comment
Vareal Posted May 31, 2013 Share #14 Posted May 31, 2013 The dev team has out done themselves yet again! I'm really interested in seeing what the 'horror' emote looks like. And if version 1.0 is any indication, macro's will be a cinch to create. Link to comment
CassandraJean Posted June 12, 2013 Share #15 Posted June 12, 2013 They recently released a picture with the emotes in english! Link to comment
Ronberku Posted June 13, 2013 Author Share #16 Posted June 13, 2013 Where did they even post that image??? Anyway, I'm really happy to see grin and smirk in there. Two things that I really needed for Ronberku. Link to comment
