xelliexell Posted October 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2017 A fortunate few may chance across the following ticket, the likes of which are haphazardly scattered across the many lands of Hydaelyn: When the finder turns the simple slip of parchment over, they will discover the following in fine, eloquent script: "You have been cordially invited to an upscale All Saint's Wake dinner by Proprietress D'ranmaia Shenn, to be hosted at her grand estate. In celebration of the holiday, all of the mansion's hired help are also invited to partake alongside our esteemed Guests, so please do not be alarmed by their presence. Of course, certain individuals who are close to the Proprietress will also be in attendance. We look forward to seeing you there..." இڿڰۣ-ڰۣ— OoC Info இڿڰۣ-ڰۣ— As is tradition, we'll be trying something totally new and different for this year's Rendezvous Halloween Event! We're all extremely excited about putting on this little 'mystery' for the holiday. The most important thing to note is that this event will have limited Guest seats available. Because we want to assure everyone is immersed and engaged for the duration of the event, there will only be six (6) total attendee spots available. So, if you'd like to participate and you're absolutely sure you can make it, simply comment on this post expressing as much! The first 6 people to comment in this way will find a ticket and acquire one of those limited Guest seats. :tonberry: Again, the event starts at 3:00 PM CST, where everyone will assemble for a "fancy dinner" at The Goblet, Ward 8, Plot 13. From that point, murder mystery dinner theater shenanigans will ensue, and Guests will have an opportunity to interview the cast of characters and explore the mansion to search for clues. Considering this timeline, please try to arrive on time, so that we don't have to delay starting the event! There won't be any fee or anything expected of the Guests, except for showing up and enjoying the theatrics of the 'Murder Mystery Dinner Theater.' Link to comment

I thoroughly enjoyed it and it felt like I was actually playing Final Fantasy if you know what I mean. There was an element of the old one player style games whilst investigating clues just like back in the day - at least for me anyway! Good job all and thanks again for a great event! Link to comment

I can also see that plenty of prep when into this. I felt like I was playing Clue: The Eorzea Edition. I enjoyed very much. Link to comment

I'm so glad we were able to replicate the individual "Final Fantasy" experience. That tends to be where a lot of my inspiration for running things draws from. @Roen: That is awesome! We all had A TON of fun with it, and we were working about a week straight leading up to the event, ironing out the details, brainstorming, etc. I'm glad it showed! I shared these pics and comments with the whole volunteer team, of course. So happy it was an enjoyable experience! :moogle: Link to comment
