Introducing Myself: Nadia Bellerose - Thavnairian Dancer

Good afternoon, Hydaelyn Roleplayers! I was introduced to this site by my good friends, Saraj Malqir and Syranelle. I've been playing on-and-off on Balmung for about five years. I currently play a Thavnariain exile living in Eorzea, named Nadia Bellerose.

 

A little bit about me:

 

• I have been roleplaying in some form or another since I was about twelve. My first experiences with roleplaying in online communities began in the Neverwinter Night days. I shortly transitioned over to World of Warcraft, where I played on the Earthen Ring server as a paladin named Silverdawn.
• I've been roleplaying in just about every MMO I play. It's one of my favorite hobbies and my most honest and sincere way to express myself. I've played in LOTRO, City of Heroes (Virtue), Guild Wars 2--but Final Fantasy XIV remains my one true love. I adore absolutely everything about this game.
• I'm a Final Fantasy fan. My favorite titles are Tactics and VI, with Shadowbringers in a very close third.
• I love meeting people, interacting with other roleplayers, and making contacts. I'm not a terribly shy person, so I'll often be the first one to reach out. That said, if you ever see me online and want to say hello, never hesitate. I'd be more than glad to make your acquaintance.
• Outside of FFXIV, I love reading fantasy and sf literature. I'm also into poetry. A lot of Nadia's character was inspired by the Masnavi and the Rubaiyat. 

 

What I'm Looking For:

 

• New contacts! I just love meeting people--especially other roleplayers. I'm into attending roleplay events and crashing parties, so expect to see me about.
• Roleplay! While I'm not looking for a story arc just yet, I am very much interested in just playing Nadia and interacting with other roleplayers. If you're curious about my character, check out her carrd in my signature.
• Fun! FFXIV's the best game I've played in ages and ages. Even if we're not roleplaying, I am more than happy to join people on adventures. I'm a fairly competent player--I've never done any Savage content, but I'm happy to run most dungeons.

• In-game is the best way to reach me. Tells, ideally. Friend requests, possibly, if we click! You can also reach out to me through this very forum. I don't check very often, but I have e-mail notifications.
• I don't usually give out my Discord unless we know each other really well.
