Hi! Oldish player but even older RPer

Hi there!

 

It’s been a long while since I’ve been on a forum but since I’ve been wanting to get into FF14 RPing, I'm a 20+ nerd who likes writing, drawing, games & baking. I thought I might as well give it a shot, meet new people, make new stories & all that fun jazz. I’ve got tons (years even) of RP experience from ye olde text rps on forums, drawing rps & through TTRPG but I’ve never had the chance to try it via MMO, but I love writing & characters so I thought it’d be nice to give it a go!

 

I picked up FF14 about 2 years ago, played for a couple of months but went on a long break because I didn’t have anyone to play with & I was a lil intimidated by MMO communities. But a couple of my friends encouraged me to pick it up again about 8 months ago & I’ve been slowly working my way through since!

 

I have a couple of characters floating about: My main is an Ishgardian Hyur White Mage called Marian Prolux on Faerie who I love very much, while my (also.. White mage but I might go Red Mage when I hit 50) Alt, Lominsan Au-Ra, Elizabeth Aston, is on Spriggan, which I’m running through things with my tank & friend (and hopefully going to save up enough to get our grubby mitts on a FC house some day…). I’m still working on a few things about their backgrounds, but I’m pretty sure I have the basics down now. I usually try to have my RP tag on, so if you do bump into them, don’t be afraid to say hi!

 

If anyone has any tips or tricks too, I’m all ears & will appreciate the help, haha.
