Trying to find this gear!

Alright, so just about everyone knows what the Acolyte set looks like at this point, but I found a variation on a NPC and I'd love to know how to get my hands on it. I've checked ZAM, Google.. all I come up with is zip.

If anyone has any idea about what this set is called, where it drops, who crafts it, etc. please let me know!

This is the Arcanist Guild Guildmaster, and I'm seriously hoping this isn't NPC only clothing.

That's the design of the Acolyte set from the low level dungeons (It was in P4 Beta) however, the colouring is different. The interior is white and red, and the exterior is a dingy dark green.

...SORRY ABOUT THE BAD POSE. I don't take many screenshots.

Lol! I'm actually trying to find the blue set, I apologize if my post made it sound like I was looking for the Acolyte stuff

=P I just figured you were looking for the design. But I certainly agree, unfortunately Acolyte isn't dyeable which makes me sad, but I do hope this set actually does exist... Not a fan of the green.

Seeing how some armors seem to be re-used after a few levels, I wouldn't be surprised if we got access to another acolyte set that is dyeable or that comes in a different color.

I remember this quest in Ul'dah, where my pugilist got a fabolous pink jacket. Later on, however, I got the same model as a reward but this time it could be dyed.

While it's possible, I feel like it's unlikely. Any gear that is above Common (that is with a white name) or that isn't Aetheric (pink name) seem to be intended as being unique. Even though they don't provide a set bonus to my knowledge, they still come in a set. That is because while these are good pieces of gear, it is my impression they're also supposed to serve as costumes. Because of that it's not likely they'll add palette swapped versions of them as higher level gear, or if they do it won't be for a long time and will probably be crafted.
