So in 3 months smallest will be 8 million, medium 30 million and large 100 million. I still think they've gone about it backwards (the time/gil sink should be in upgrading) but at least that's more of a realistic goal.

Pretty much this. On a f2p game it makes sense to price things exorbitantly, to try and get your player base to cough up real cash to support the game, and gain perks that makes gaining money easier.

It's doable.  But I am still sad.  At least it's doable, but I think I'm going to put a damper on my excitement from now on, because I just don't trust them not to do stupid things.

Yeah, ditto. Their excuses were pretty poor too and really boil down to "the servers can't handle it", pfft. I guess we'll see what happens in three months.

I sure got sad when I looked at my crafting interface and seen all the shiny new pieces of forniture I can craft...and thought I'll probably never be able to craft them for myself

It's also worth noting that we still get individual housing later down the line which will be much less expensive. No set date for that, but at least it's -something-. So your furniture craftyness can get used there.

Yeah, the graphical settings are way low, it's pretty obvious. Hopefully a carpet or something will fix that in the end...

No, that's definitely a medium sized one from what we've seen of the interior of a large house in the Live Letters. From what I've seen on Balmung there are no houses up yet, but who knows right now. I'm pretty sure this house is on Gilgamesh though, I don't really know. It was linked to me by someone in my FC.

Well if you want to wait longer the cheapest it could get is 4 mil, 15 mil, and 50 mil. That's waiting the 90 days for the normal .14% devalue to 50% the original value.

 

At least this is what I believe will happen as we've been given no indication that the normal devalue system will be removed from the housing system with the new prices.

I don't think I am too upset about the company housing prices. I can say I am very glad company housing came first though. The prices are no doubt ridiculous and now I can pretty much guess that whatever I assumed personal housing to be.. I should probably multiply it by 10. I do feel bad for those companies who were preparing to spend some of the holiday running around with their mates in their new houses.

 

I will admit though, I was a bit snickered at all the people who were saying it should be hard to get that way it would -realllly- make it a accomplishment and now that it is out of everyone reach, suddenly the accomplishment is "insane".
