Entity Posted January 6, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2014 *COMMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY FULL, Leave PM Requests please! ^^ Hellos, this is Emiiresa Abilyne/Lydahn Falahann/Ellerierre Arislaunde from Balmung. I'm not surprised that I'm not the only one who thought to try their hand at commissions for gil for Housing. After seeing a couple of nice Houses, I want to have my own for a future FC in the making, so for the first time in my life, I'm opening up commissions, except this one will be through gil! I'm still not confident in my artstyle just yet to be charging real money; the artists and designers I look up to are much better than I am, so I have a lot to strive for as well as to improve on. That said don't be afraid to make more specific requests. I'm always up for a challenge or something new, as it expands my capabilities and what I can do. That said, however, for the time being I'm just going to do single-character drawings (one character in a single drawing), whether it's busts, headshots, portraits, full body shots, etc., and for those who prefer one over the other, I can do traditional, digital, or a combination of both, your choice, and inked, pencil, sketchy, etc. I'm a little unsure of how well I can color my pieces...I'm still trying to find a coloring style that works for me, but if you want it colored, I'll see what I can do. Depending on how well the commissions do, I may open up to more types of drawings, like group drawings or something more complex. But for now it's single character, so we'll see where things go from here. Here are some of the starting prices for my artpieces: Headshot/Portrait(Sketch): 15,000gil Headshot/Portrait(Inked): 30,000gil Headshot/Portrait(Color): 40,000gil Bust(Sketch): 45,000gil Bust(Inked): 60,000gil Bust(Color): 70,000gil Full-Body(Sketch): 75,000gil Full-Body(Inked): 100,000gil Full-Body(Color): 125,000gil *Prices for the Full-Body selections may change for the requester depending on the detail of the reference used and preferences desired. And below here's some of my own work over the course of several years just so you know what I was and am still currently capable of as things are now: Link to comment
Entity Posted January 6, 2014 Author Share #2 Posted January 6, 2014 Apparently I can only put up 5 pieces on a single post, so here's some more: Link to comment
Entity Posted January 6, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted January 6, 2014 And still more... 1.---Blue(Full Body Color) IN PROGRESS--- 2.---Valirelia Ferox(Full Body Color)--- 3.---Solas Claritas--- *Depending on workflow as this goes on, more spots may open or become available. *Roegadyn and Lalafells now get a 25% discount! I'd like to see more of our Lalas and Roes! Link to comment
LandStander Posted January 6, 2014 Share #5 Posted January 6, 2014 Those FFXIV pieces are really really nice. Looks like its time for me to snatch more gil from my retainers. Link to comment
Faye Posted January 6, 2014 Share #6 Posted January 6, 2014 Oooh, I may have to save up for some of your pretty art! Link to comment
Hyakki Posted January 7, 2014 Share #7 Posted January 7, 2014 Ooh I'll bite! I'd like an inked headshot sketch if you please. (Or maybe pencil? I really love the detail in your pencil sketches, would digital inked look the same?) SKIN TONE: Tan BUILD: mesomorph body type, medium muscle definition HEIGHT: 71 ilms (6' 1") HAIR COLOUR: reddish brown HAIR STYLE: Currently a loosely slicked-back and somewhat messy pompadour. Alternate hairstyle is the Yoshi-P 'fro MARKINGS: Tattoo on the left side of his face EYE COLOUR: rust orange REFERENCE IMAGES: link EXPRESSION: Cheerful, cocky, smug (think Space Dandy) DEMEANOR: Often laid back but impatient and hot-headded in tedious situations. He thinks he's hot stuff but he's kind of an idiot. ATTIRE: Warrior AF1, casual attire consists of loose-fitting clothes and sandals or shirtless with short pants and sandals/bare feet ADDITIONAL NOTES: Character is in early thirties, Pacific Islander facial structure (I tried to work with SE's facial options the best I could) handsome but he's no bishonen prettyboy. Up to you if you want to draw the tattoo or not (we'll just say its war paint) scar is a must though. By the way your Elezen is gorgeous! Link to comment
Entity Posted January 7, 2014 Author Share #8 Posted January 7, 2014 Sure! The inked versions are usually done in Photoshop, with the Pen Tool. It's been years since I've done a traditional ink since discovering that method lol. That said, the photoshop inking is MUCH more clean than if I were to do it traditionally. It would look very much like the 5th picture in my second post, if that's something you're alright with. But if you REALLY would rather have a traditional INK I can do that for you, it'll just be the cost of a pencil sketch but a little more. Link to comment
Entity Posted January 7, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted January 7, 2014 Xieveral, I finished your drawing. If you want me to ink it like the picture above I mentioned I'll get started =] Otherwise if you really want me to I can try and traditionally ink it. I'll be waiting for your response! Hyakki Posted January 7, 2014 Share #10 Posted January 7, 2014 I'll go with digital this time around but your pencil work is seriously amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do! EDIT: I'm sorry about the late reply! I got pulled aside for dungeon spammage e_e Link to comment
Entity Posted January 10, 2014 Author Share #11 Posted January 10, 2014 And here is your picture, Xieveral! If you're up for another commission just ask! Hope you like it! ^^ (If you want a full-size manageable file just send me an e-mail, apparently I couldn't attach the full-size version unless there's a way to do it, in which case I don't know >.<) 1 Link to comment

Entity Posted January 10, 2014 Author Share #13 Posted January 10, 2014 Ah sure it's np, since you're my first customer, I'll give it to you for free =] Link to comment
Entity Posted January 11, 2014 Author Share #14 Posted January 11, 2014 Oh and, in case people are wondering, the hair done in my first commission is NOT Vector (Don't even know how you "vector" hair anyways =P ). Every single strand you see in there was done individually using the pen tool. Just to solve any misunderstanding since I've gotten a couple of assumptions and questions. =] Link to comment

Blue Posted April 1, 2014 Share #19 Posted April 1, 2014 I had been thinking for a week to make a thread asking for artisans willing to take my gil rather than money. I am so poor IRL I couldn't even afford an extra retainer subscription or any of the official soundtracks, nevermind art >_< gil though aren't too difficult to come by, I have several crafting jobs that do for that quite well. I'll think about what I'd like to see made, and then I'll post my request! Thanks for creating this! EDIT: For reference, how would you do with drawing something of different age from your model? Thinking of what I'd like, I find a picture of Jet'a as a child on top of my wishlist. Link to comment

Thinking of what I'd like, I find a picture of Jet'a as a child on top of my wishlist. I think as long as I have a reference, I can work with what I have and make the proper age adjustments, assuming things such as the hair and eyes are/were fairly similar during their younger years, otherwise I would need more details. That would be an interesting thing to do so let me know when you're ready and I'll see what I can do! =] Link to comment
Blue Posted April 2, 2014 Share #21 Posted April 2, 2014 Okay, then it's decided! I'd like a child version of Jet'a (with whatever style you used for this picture), full body. I'll let you decide whether it would look best coloured or not, I can afford either. This is the adult model of Jet'a, with the hairstyle he would have had as a child. Picture for hair Picture for hair 2 Picture for hair 3 (Also, as a note, as a child he wouldn't have that X scar on his nose yet; he has the cheek tattoos on both sides of his face, and a blue teardrop tattoo, like Blue in my signature, though his hair will probably hide it.) Just realized I have no pictures showing his tail, but he's got the wolf-like one typical of the Keepers (fluffy tail, if you want). The age would be of a 5-7 years old, the son of a family of hunters living in a tent camp in a forest. (Here's a part of a fanfiction related to that phase, if you want to read it to get an idea). I'll let you decide what clothes he would likely have worn in that environment, as well as the posture (I believe the less restrictions, the better results when it comes to art!). Add me (Jet'a Vann) as a friend so I can send you the initial 75,000 gil, and I'll pay the rest when I see with which style you decided to go for! ^^ Link to comment
Entity Posted January 8, 2015 Author Share #22 Posted January 8, 2015 HELLO People! A message just to let everyone know that I just recently got back into FFXIV about a week ago. I spent the past several months with my sub cancelled so I could save up the money for this guy http://entlty.deviantart.com/art/My-Brand-New-CINTIQ-500723975 Anywho I just want those to know who were interested that I am now resuming the provision of artwork to those who were interested. The prices in my initial post are still the same as before, nothing's changed. Atm I only have one extra spot open b/c I am now and still working on the two I still have from before (A lot has happened and I've just been really busy but now things are looking up). Anyway, after I finish my current obligations I'll be happy to take on more requests! *Send me private messages if you are interested in making a request! I'm not too worried on that unless that starts to pile up, in which case I'll have to set a limit on requests, should it reach that point. Link to comment
Ilwe'ran Posted January 8, 2015 Share #23 Posted January 8, 2015 Yup, I would like a full body color please, I send you a pm ! Link to comment

Entity Posted January 30, 2015 Author Share #25 Posted January 30, 2015 And here's the sketch for young Jet'a Vann! I found it a little difficult on how to draw him in terms of what he should be doing. Taking a look at the mini-story, I decided this would be best. Excluding other circumstances that kept me from doing this much sooner, it didn't take too long. Anywho I apologize for the delay and hope you like it! ^^ Link to comment
