Koti Nexus Posted September 14, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2010 So, the opening movie is up on the FF14's website. I was watching it and I heard the Elezen talk and I was like, "..I know your voice, but why?" Now, someone tell me I am wrong-- But is that freakin' Jeremy Irons (also the voice of Scar in Lion King)'s voice? Cause to me.. it sounded like it! Link to comment

Veedo Posted September 15, 2010 Share #13 Posted September 15, 2010 It seems that Eorzea is the Great Britain (and for some reason partial Australasia) of Hydaelyn. Link to comment

Veedo Posted September 15, 2010 Share #15 Posted September 15, 2010 Totally the Garlean Empire. I joke, I joke. <3 Though, I do wonder if extra continents from future expansions (which I figure is a pretty viable prediction) will have different accents or not. Link to comment

I certainly left it open on purpose. It would be nice if there were very different customs and accents available come expansions. Of course we're talking waaaay too early about that. Link to comment
