111 Posted June 3, 2014 Share #26 Posted June 3, 2014 That Elevator isn't going to guard itself. Wait, you don't mean I'd actually have to do something else? I didn't realize oaths really meant something! It's a demanding job. "You there! Sultansworn! More bubbles for your Sultana's bath!" "Y-yes your grace!" Link to comment
Coatleque Posted June 3, 2014 Share #27 Posted June 3, 2014 Why does this come to mind... ? Link to comment

Kage Posted June 3, 2014 Share #29 Posted June 3, 2014 We didn't let a core to a bomb near the Sultana and yet someone got a snap of the bath in the royal chambers?! Link to comment

Tiergan Posted June 3, 2014 Share #32 Posted June 3, 2014 Hnnnggg... Tempted to join LS because Tier is technically a Free Paladin... but also unsure if he would do that. Must think on it further. Link to comment
111 Posted June 3, 2014 Share #33 Posted June 3, 2014 Also *any* adventurer who has proven themselves can join the Free Brigade under commander swift, which is essentially an Adhoc organization anyway. So there is nothing wrong with being a Free Paladin and in the Free Brigade. (And in the Linkshell by extension). http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/special/grandcompany/immortalflames/ As for the actual legal authority of a Free Paladin, I think it's just whatever you want it to be. Some would have almost no connection to the actual Sultansworn, while others probably think of themselves as more of Reserve members, who return when they are needed. Link to comment
Aerostein Posted June 3, 2014 Share #34 Posted June 3, 2014 I really like the sound of this, to be honest. Lately, too many people just start fights, and draw their weapons without any consequence. Lol, including my char. (: Would make for more interesting scenarios with this sort of LS around I believe. Link to comment

That's always been my feelings on it. Not official, actual Sultansworn but could be tapped to fill in if needed, with the perks of being independent and not bound to watching elevators or guarding hallways. Also I joined that linkshell yaaaaaaaay Link to comment

thesunalsorises Posted June 4, 2014 Share #39 Posted June 4, 2014 I'd be interested in this, because T'khai is a free paladin. He needs to hang around more like minded people. Link to comment

I do think that in order to keep with the spirit of Erik's LS, the Free Paladins should be very willing to step in if say Immortal Flames are called and such. I don't see a Free Paladin being in the IF LS if the Paladin isn't willing to take up arms for the Free Brigade under Swift. Link to comment
Jana Posted June 4, 2014 Share #44 Posted June 4, 2014 Oh, Free Brigade adventurers are welcome too? I'll look into it. Link to comment
Coatleque Posted June 24, 2014 Share #45 Posted June 24, 2014 Well, I went and created said Linkshell the other night. Anyone who wants in just contact either myself (Coatleque Crofte), or Warren Castille in-game. The pearl is called "Sultanswarm" It is an IC channel. The main participants are, IC, members of the Sultansworn and Free Paladins. Higher-ranking officers of the Immortal Flames are also invited out of the interest of unit cohesion. This is not meant to discourage use of the Immortal Flames link, by any means! I'll still be active there for sure, just a little more 'tight lipped' pertaining to matters of security regarding Her Grace See This Post for the IC events that facilitated this. Link to comment
