I 'liked' some of the questions I saw that I also wanted answers to.  I also laughed because it feels like 75% of all the questions come from Balmung.

>lore

>implying anyone other than a roleplayer cares

Anonymoose is on Excalibur, not Balmung.

They were on Ultros last I checked. Some small portion of that community broke off and splintered into Balmung, Excalibur, etc., but... meh.

Thanks for the highlight, Kage!

I'd like more details on aether personally.

How it functions in combination with living organisms and how much of a "life energy" it truly is. (Makolol) There seems to be some disagreement and disconnect over how much it powers life itself considering the Garleans continue to prosper with a distinct lack of it. Logic would follow that Eorzean organisms are more naturally rich in it due to environment but there really isn't any solid legs for the conjecture to stand on.

Some more details on aether poisoning/sickness would be cool too. :D

See, getting yelled at in that situation is fine by me, when doing high end raids I expect to have to play my songs. But getting my bum torn open over not playing in a low end dungeon or during trash mobs, it's like...UGH hair pulling. Especially when the arguments are 'support is what a bard does!'

Hence why I desire a more 'proper' physical ranged class than what Bard is right now.

Did all that make sense? @__@

I think this BRD would disagree with you if you told him he wasn't a proper DPS... <_<;

It's nothing like that; BRD is one of my main endgame classes and I know it can output great DPS. It's more that BRD should be more supportive to allow something like Ranger or Musketeer to fill the ranged damage role. BRD used to require CNJ, from what I recall, so it's clear that the devs meant for it to be more supportive than it is right now.

...Though with only 4 players, there isn't really room for a support class. I think most would rather have more DPS. But that's a discussion for another thread.

I think the only reason I'm in my static is to make sure I have paeon running at all times for the Monks (Especially in T8). I'm pretty used to getting yelled at for not singing xD

<_< I'm very sorry.

I would tell them to either learn the wonders of Invigorate or learn how to actually manage their TP?

In T8 I give exactly 500 MP worth of Army's Paeon just before 2nd Dreadnaught to my MNK/DRG/myself (because sometimes I derp). Beyond that, my MP is reserved for nearly full-timing Foe's Requiem. I don't think I've ever needed to use Paeon in any other Coil Turn, ever.

And I have a strict no-paeon policy in dungeons. If you wanna gimp your damage by spamming 100 potency, 200 tp-cost weaponskills on 5 mobs... be my guest. I don't feel obligated to gimp my dps by 20% to accommodate your life decisions.

But this is a discussion for another thread! LORE! ALL THE LORE! FERNEHALWES LOVE ME PLZ! =3

if you have yet to do the 2.3 storyline leading up to Ramuh, then I would start there, All leaving beings are made up of aether, and it is not so much that garleans don't have it, it is more that they cannot access it ala thaumaturgy (the only currently known magic school that deals with internal aether.)
