Done it a few times as well. Put myself in a habit of dropping gear I want to keep on the retainer..switching through sets to make sure all pieces are accounted for and then going to town on breaking everything down.

i do have the bad habit of turning gear i'm using into flame hall on those deliverly missions tho.. >.>;;;

 

Maybe that's where a few missing gear set pieces have gone......

could be. i know that's the reason more than once i've accidently participated in "pantsless tuesday" before running to replace them

That's why I make sure I set the dropdown option to only show stuff in my normal bags. Then, I just drag the stuff I want to turn in from my Armory into my Inventory and go to town. :blush:

cant say this has really happened to me since ive been using inventory to convert the whole time and always caught the little page. That being said, I have wasted materia points by melding higher grade materia that exceeded the points max for the gear. That one gives a wrtten warning in bright red, so i dunno what that says about me lol

Hey everyone just an update on the gear situation. I got a few materia that was in the 20k-30k range so i sold them and I have currently enough to regear my characters Gladiator class myself. Thanks for all the offers to help, much appreciated!

I figured that though it would of been nice to just have had the gear given to me, I had the power to help myself so I'd fix my own mistake (wow this sounds so serious ha) so in turn you can help out someone who really needs it.

 

But I do appreciate the help!

 

The kicker to the story is I was actually able to better equip myself than what I had lost. Item level went from 36 up to 49:)
