Essentially, "Elezen" believe themselves to be the first race of man to live in/return to Eorzea during the 6th Astral Era. So Elezen lived in a lot of places across Eorzea until Hyur began migrating to the realm in the fourth century and displacing the Elezen tribes. Some came to settle in Coerthas, others attempted to enter the Black Shroud, which eventually lead to the founding of Gelmorra after some prolonged territorial disputes. Which leads back to the lore above, the founding of Gridania, the death of Gelmorra, and the division between two Elezen clans of the Shroud, Wildwood and Duskwight. The Elezen living in Ishgard, and many other places, don't necessarily have this distinction. Clans outside of the playable ones do exist. And "Ishgardian" Elezen is one of those, though most appear as "Wildwoods" because that's how Elezen looked before the Gelmorran Elezen went underground. However, some do also look like Duskwights (particularly those of the line of Dzemael). This could be because Duskwights fled to Ishgard in the last 500 years, it could be because the genes of certain Elezen lines just lean more towards Duskwight features and always have. -You can find a big compilation of some older Ishgardian lore posts here Alright then. Yeah, i should've ask that in the beginning since i wondering why there some duskwight models in ishgard as well rpers playing as ishgard with duskwight models.

That's nice. Since i want my character to be ishgardian in some way. I could make him ishgardian with duskwight model actually. Or duskwight who's grandfather is ishgardian. Tried to tie up to make sense for his personality.

Consider how they handle black mage and white mage, i agree on it will be very vague of it's lore just to add for the sake of fanservice. But, i be optimistic about that the class RDM is from Sharlayan actually.

Well i was orginally trying to make her be a samurai clan's daughter who wandering though eorzea, but stormblood haven't come out yet and i don't how it reflect on samurai culture. So i put a temporary story of her living in ishgard taken by her caretaker to have her live there, so she can get away from the clan war or from assassination, depend how yoshie P handle the samurai lore. I chose ishgardian as a starting place mainly because the contrast of doman. The Caretaker is hyur, was actually war buddiies with lord edmont some time ago against the dragons. The caretaker was a mercenary, so he can help out of the ishgardian. He then save lord edmont from the battle against the dragon's skirmish, he then ask edmont to promise him if times come, he shall help his problems as well. I was orginally thought scrapping this backstory since i don't know if lord edmont was a retired knight or not, but i assumed most, if not all, houses are taken in arm as knights. I also don't know if samurai can taken as mercenaries during the dragonsong war cause again, don't know, until stormblood is release, of how the samurai's lore handle. I also don't know the life expectancy of the elezan, so i assume lord edmont to be at least 45 or 50. And finally, why yes, she does get set of prejuice from the other ishgardians, especially the ward knights and the church, but lord edmont protect her from it cause the promise he made. Sorry for the long post, but mainly because the backstory of my character is more a holder until stromblood is release.
