Hihi. So I was about to brush off the old healer character and was wondering if I could get some help with a character idea I've been having for her. My goal was to be a kind of "underling" for a darker/evil kind of group forced in by whatever means. They would have grown up from a somewhat poor family, prioritizing their own money and self before all else, but find it hard to turn help away from people in desperate need. While not exactly deep in the dark end, they'd still find it within their interest to help out a group for shady needs as long as the coin and such were good. 1. What kind of race would fit the personality the base? 2. Would you have any critique you'd like to give to a person wanting to RP an underling / potential criminal?

Don't you taunt me with that Viera stuff. I would happily murder most of you for them to be put in the game as a playable race.

Greetings fellow RPers! Madda here with a long overdue connections post for one of Madda's main characters. Some of you might have met her ICly back a few months ago, but Madda's done a bit of a rework on her backstory and personality in general. She's the character Madda first fell in love with because femroes. Here's My Story... You May Have Heard of Me... xx► If you're an Ul'dah regular. Towering stays primarily in the desert city, enjoying the fights of the Gladiator's Guild and the Sultansworn's protection. She can be seen roaming about with Ushiyo, doing various tasks and lounging about while enjoying a peaceful retirement. ► If you regularly hire sellswords for various things. She easily could have run into you previously, but forgotten about you if you were not up to anything. If you were bad, however... I'm Searching For... ► Potential Students - Always on the lookout for people that wish to learn the art of fighting. In times like these, not learning how to fight is dooming yourself if trouble comes your way. ► A certain lovely barmaid that is quite beautiful. I have all her pin ups and- oh... ► Sultansworn Contacts - Always good to have some in case something comes up. Maybe they could use some fresh blood? ► Friends for Ushiyo - Every kid's gotta have some friends to play with. She keeps talking about hearing whispers from somewhere... Ah, okay! Madda has always had an interest in roleplaying an Elezen! Can Madda PM you later about some possible ideas about it? Maybe Towering and the Lady could meet one day! Madda is in the EST timezone though.

Oh, yes! Hihi! Madda may be interested in RPing with you! Towering Peach is a grizzled middle aged femroe that's seen a lot of action and always in search of interesting people. She has a bit of a companion following her, but she's a skilled fighter with a sword and shield. Maybe do you have any interest in any servants of anything?

Madda actually has been playing around with Towering Peach for Madda's idea. She wouldn't be venerable, but she would be considerably aged near the brink of middle age. Of course, she wouldn't care mostly for crow's feet and all those things that come along aging, and would actively be seeking to teach the next generation of adventurers, maybe finding somebody to settle down with.

Madda extends the same hand! As a Communications major, Madda's willing to help out with things if needed!

Eke Tumet is Madda's Au Ra. She's Xaela. Her story and such comes from the Tumet tribe's custom to tie their kids to a tree when they're old enough and travel wherever. If any kids manage to return, they get a name and a formal invitation to the tribe. Eke is not one of those people. Eke did succeed in getting off the tree, but after that, because of being mostly sheltered by her mother, she was unable to find her way back and ended up wandering and living off the land. Living the life of a wanderer, she eventually met up with another Raen tribe (there's one that accepts and prefers it's new arrivals to be foreigners IIRC) and grew up there before hopping on a ship to Eorzea to escape the further persecution of the Empire. Upon getting a ride to Thanlahn, Eke bummed around a bit before catching eye of the dancers in Ul'Dah. While most of them did have a rather seedy underside, she found the fluid motion of their moves and such interesting and strangely obsessive. With what little Gil she had, she continually purchased lessons while living in poor housing. Currently, she resides in the capital, currently trying to make endsmeet while also fueling her hobby of dancing.

Hmm? No. All but the chest piece is from the lvel 45 quests. So you can get headpiece, hands, legs and boots. According to the WHM quest, the quest rewards of gear is all Level 50. SO even if Madda did get them, it'd be useless.

Wish Madda could get the Artifact gear, but it's 50 > o>

Thanks to all for your advice and such. Guess it's only hard because Madda's the lowest level you can be to do it. That and Madda's never been in a situation healingwise where you have so much to heal and interrupts and LoS to deal with. Sorry for venting. Madda shall git gud.

Historically gladiators were absolutely prostitutes. They were slaves, but sort of like rock stars. The whole City of rome just watched some guy wreck it in the Arena, and then he stands there among the fallen, his rippling muschles covered in blood and sweat. Sounds pretty interesting enough, but then you find out that there's like 7 different styles of dance that revolve around the term "belly dancing". That does sound like a really cool concept though. Mind if Madda steals borrows it? Heck, more than that. There ought to be a dancer's event, or at least a gathering. I have the toon for it. It is a tricky thing to RP right now, but I have seen some nifty macros. SE, moar dances, pls. Totally! It'd be nice for all the dancers and such to gather and then chat, teach dances to others, network a bit.

^ title Basically, Madda's updating Madda's miqo'te's backstory a tad and needed some clarification. For most of her life was one of those scantily clad dancers in Ul'dah due to financial issues. Has it ever been defined about what their job entails and such?
