Huh. That's pretty ironic! I made her an Au Ra and busy doing stuff. Maybe they could have small talk about food and sailing stuff. Or maybe just food. Thanks to Warren and Sickety for the suggestions and feedback!

Heyoo Madda wanted to make a social character that would be an interesting and very hated idea by most people, but needed some views or advice. The base of the idea is that the character is a young child (10-13) that was a stowaway on a pirate ship after her tribe / clan (depending on race) that eventually became an honorary member of the crew by killing a rival captain on accident. Recently during the reveal and integration of the Au Ra into the day, she snuck away and made Limsa her current home. She would use a Machinist's gun which is actually a custom made fireworks launcher obtained from her pirating days. She'd be a pretty tomboyish type ruffian, always in search of things to get dirty in, but mostly curious with the Ishgardian and Garland-esque technology and in search of people who have some. What would be a good race for her personality type? Miqo'te or Au Ra?

Why do you post in third person? It's a tragic tale. Madda used to talk normal before a cantakerous Black mage cursed Madda to become crazed and wild. But he mispronounced the word and ended us casting a Curse of Maddaning! Ever since then, Madda has scoured the lands for a way to remove the curse, but there seems to be no way

So Madda just finished Madda's first play through of Until Dawn and was somewhat conflicted over whether Madda or liked it. It had a good premise, but right after you find out Josh was pulling a prank and the Wendigos were introduced, Madda sort of had a sour taste in Madda's mouth. It feels like they wanted to do two sort of separate ideas at once, but chose the Wendigos over the slasher flick. It's still a very good "game" and Madda highly reccomends it for anyone wanting a modern horror experience full of jump scares. The visuals and deaths are amazing, the story is solid if a bit cheesy. Sadly, no sex scenes. Also, no David Cage! Thank the Twelve! What did everyone else think of the game?

So Madda's a hypocrite. Madda fell back in love with XIV. Fite me. Madda was wondering if anybody had any more tips on how to immerse yourself deep enough to actually make a lengthy wiki page with oh so many examples to choose from. Madda's maybe a moderate - heavy experienced and really wanna flesh out Towering and future Au Ra kid.

It was pretty impossible before anyway. HW just adds another layer of bullshit just to make a character. Before, Madda stayed up 3 nights in a row just to make 1 character, and 2 nights ended in only being open for character creation for a few minutes. What Madda wants to know is why we have to do this? There is no other MMO that does what XIV does with the character creation.

Madda is having problems again. It's like every time Madda opens the patched for XIV, it hits Madda that there's not really much RP that Madda knows goes on. There's cities and the like, but Madda can only think of a few good dedicated RP guilds. Most of it is walk ups, but it's like a weird version of WoW where there is only RP happening in 3 places. Everywhere else is like digging for gold. Madda guesses what Madda is saying is that somehow XIV doesn't seem as fun as it was anymore. Madda hates how basic things like making a new character and other systems of the game, but loves the community here. Some of you Madda knows for a good amount of time from WildStar even! It's really hard to explain further > ~<

Towering sat down, reading the article once or twice, but most of her attention was focused on Aya's build. She seemed so soft and tiny like most hyur, but the last picture with the spear gave her a nice look of those abs. Blushing heavily, she quietly felt judged by the other patrons and quickly pocketed the pictures. "She looks...Nice." The roe was able to say after a while, a few patrons giving the 7 ulm woman a confused gaze before proceeded back to their own copies.

I thought we were tight. B-But we are! D: Madda has nothing against Lalafell. Madda happens to have several friends who just so happen to be Lalafell.

- Anyone with the Lightning Returns hairstyle. It may come from a bias towards every FF game since FF6, but it just sort of screams "Mary sue" - Cloud Strifes. Any character who is broody enough ALL the time. Mazda admits, Towering can be among the most broody to many, but she is diverse enough to break it up every now and again. She hates to appear soft or weak to everyone, but seeing a child or even a stuffed animal will be enough for her to hug the life out of it. - Lalafell. Some of their emotes are pretty over the top to make Madda wince.

Anyway, welcome to the forums! Madda hopes you have a wonderful time here RPing with all of us crazy people. There are some FCs/linkshells out there that can be a good fit for your character depending on what you want for them to do! Don't be afraid to start up random walk ups as well, as many times people are just itching for some person to come and interact with them.

Curious about people's opinions on roleplaying non playable races. Madda was thinking doing a Sylph or Moogle for random RP when scurrying around The Black Shroud. They'd be a normal magic user, with Sylphs being the race that seem slightly better for such an idea. Somebody also keep a count on how many times the word "glamor" is used.

Madda's (future) Machinist will be in need of friends when character creation opens up. Madda shall keep you in mind =3

Curses. Madda really needs to hurry up and level so Towering can be a square.

Mirielda (Madda's catgirl) was raised by humans at a young age, and finds it much easier to talk and interact with them more so than her own race. Madda can't speak for the entire community, but many people are accepting of it, as odd things can happen, just as long as they make sense and aren't too far out there. The hardest part would be identifying the culture your character is raised in. Using our idea for an example, if a Miqo'te were raised in a Hyur family, they would definitely be taught what Hyur view as a social norm. They would be taught monogamy, to maintain one's cool, and maybe even family teachings. Depending on the character, they would also find it easier/harder to live up to their birth races' culture as well, since they were never fully taught or exposed to those before.

The fact that Madda has work for the entire weekend has Madda more disappointed than Nintendo's E3 conference. HEYOOOOOO
