Anyone got a link to download the client? My pc froze whilst it was updating and now it wont launch to update.

Personally I don't think that its that much of a cop out at all. There's going to be a war. That means people with little to experience in large scale combat manouveres (pretty much everyone died last time is my understanding). How do you counter that? Large scale wargames to get people up to speed on how it's done, and as most people know. There is hardly a better motivator than rivalry. There is nothing saying what that latent power is. Therefore the latent power could well simply be acting as a focus, and you are calling upon that. This fulfils both aspects of the current lore.

As myself and a couple of others have taken it in Soliloquy tonight, we are treating it as the crystal is a focus to summon them, rather than the creature being summoned from the crystal if that makes sense.

Nako'li is talented in most/all areas of magi, he picks it up easily, so any magic class that comes along, he will be using. However, as a tribal Miqo'te I have him as knowing ARC (at least a basic grasp) as he hunted with a bow, and PUG, given he would have play fought, gotten used to that style of fighting (2 older brothers and 5 older sisters will do that methinks). other than that, IC'ly he won't be touching any Jobs, it doesn't fit him specialising like that, and he may dabble in some crafting (magitek most likely if/when it becomes available) anyone that wants tutoring in any magic disciplines, he is looking for students

For Nako'li it would most likely be a wax slate similar to those used in roman schools. That or a notebook with magical formulae and observations.

Carbuncle will be in RP for me, its something Nako'li can do. However, IC he isn't taking any Jobs, so will not be using any of the egis/fairy in RP

Which phonetic alphabet? I just have a general tumblr. And I don't really update it that frequently. So ill probably just stick stuff up on there. me Like.. a b c d... technically not phonetic, otherwise we have some un-needed characters in there. and theres more than the latin one, the Japanese Kanji is phonetic for instance. (At least according to some Japanese people I knew, they could of course have been lying )
