Hello! I am a returning player to the game and I was on Gilgamesh when it was the second RP server. It seems as if everyone is on Balmung now but that server has been disabled for new characters for 3 days now... Still trying.....

Seeing as how the la noscean rogues guild seems to draw heavily from Matsell's "Rogues Lexicon", the majority of the slang is actually from 19th century New York... The curse words were plentiful, but nothing like what we consider swearing now. For anyone who wants an education in criminal speech, I recommend looking up that work. When Darcey swears, he does so in rogue speech, although when speaking normally, you wouldn't know he was a rogue. He has patterned his speech after the highborn folks he serves food to as a waiter and cook.

Physical touch is a large part of communication for a physical race such as the Sea Wolves. With everything from shoulder slaps to large sweeping hugs, wrestling, punching, etc... Merl has no problem receiving and giving physical contact in a variety of ways. Little is better to drive home a point than a subtle hand on a shoulder, or less subtle punch in the arm! Passion is not relegated to boisterous behavior alone, tender touch and more comforting gestures are also welcome and given freely.

Sins and Crimes are two very different things... However, since the removal of officially sanctioned privateers and the advent of the Maelstrom, Merl has left the majority of his crimes behind. Now they are just sins of his past. Now, his sins consist mostly of lewd and lascivious behavior...

I have a level 50 warrior on balmung also. However, with the changes to the game, maybe I should just start a fresh character!

Looks like balmung is more active than gilgamesh? at least from the list there.

They have added so much that it almost feels like a new game. Anyway, my linkshells are dead, my free company is gone... Looking for new ones!

Hrm.. I was with you guys in Tera for awhile! I am on balmung, but will have to roll on gilg to say howdy.

I am a daytime eastern time player and am looking for some RP. It seems most of the RP is in the evenings US time. I am only on reliably during the day during the eastern US timezone and occasionally on weekends and evenings. Looking for some advice as to where to go or any rp linkshells that are daytime us.

FLUFFY!!!!!! NOOO!!!!!!!!! Ok.. ok.. let's be calm about this... I will bring candy! Well, visual appeal doesn't really work with me, I love Roegadyn's, everything about them from their social structure to their look. I guess I could roll a sea wolf on one and a Hellsguard on the other? The two servers thing just means splitting time. Like having two girlfriends... fun at first, a lot of work as it continues, and finally you just end up crazier than when you started! RP Variety is the only thing I can really get behind. A couple of different styles of RP. However, much like the two server idea, I think this would start to wear thin. With one character eventually overtaking the other.

but that's the thing... in this game, you don't need alts. I can do everything I want to do on one character. Heck, I can even explain the reason that my big beefy Sea Wolf privateer took up healing for a brief stint (hint: it has to do with a woman....) I have never been an alt kind of guy, if I am making a bunch of alts in a game, that means I am not finding my stride and will probably leave before "end game" oh: and to complete the theme: "I know who I am. I'm the dude playin' the dude, disguised as another dude!"

You people are making it very hard to decide on a server.. both balmung and gilgamesh are shaping up to be awesome servers for the rp! ARGH!

What about the class that uses guns? I see the symbols in the same guild as the marauder.
