Yeah not even seeing it Gridania is the favorite of my guild (Almost half of them are going there!). It's really pretty though, I drool just looking at it. I love the cityscape of Ul'dah though. So glad I have a character going to each city

Updated our recruitment details as "Yup." was vague.

Or slang they use so you'll understand what they say in FFXIV. Some of these will be serious, some just funny. Feel free to contribute (Or correct me because my kanji is off often), or ask me to translate a phrase for ya. w = Their version of LOL. W is the beginning of the word Laugh in Japanese (Warau or Wah-rah-oo). Saw this one constantly in FFXI. ie ie~ - NP in Japanese. I'm not sure how this one works, as iie is No, but whatever. Koko ni iru (ããã«ãã)ï¼I'm here. Good for when your in the area and need an invite or when they're unsure if you're AFK. ââ - The Japanese IME is fun because you can type in phrases and get pictures if you want. Type "Hoshi", which means star, hit the spacebar twice and you get pretty star options after all the Kanji. Good for macros. ãï¼(ah!) - I'm not sure any English speaker is going to use this, but it's used ALL THE TIME by the Japanese. It's just the letter A, but it's their exclamation. So when you see that, now you know they're like =O. Aho ï¼ãã»ï¼ï¼You're gonna noticed most people who like anime and say they know Japanese use BAKA.I prefer Aho because it has a stronger meaning (Like Dumb Ass) and makes you seem less like a weeaboo. You'll also see JP use this when they don't think you can understand them =X watashi wa anata no mikote no oshiri hoshii desu (ç§ã¯ããªãã®ãã³ãã®ãããã»ããã§ã) - "I want your Miqo'te ass". Go ahead, use this. I dare ya. Take out the anata no (Watashi wa mikote no oshiri hoshii desu) and it says "I want Miqo'te ass" which means you just don't care who it's from as long as there's a tail.

Yeah there's no GO HERE. yet so I'm just kinda wandering around...
-
Big nope on both of those /wave isn't even possible yet
-
That's cuz right now it only takes like 4 leves to hit level 10 and rank 10 in your chosen class. Seriously, it's easy sauce.

Well the model thing is working. Everyone in the game looks pretty varied, even in level 1 gear. I was able to take off some different pieces (As level one, who cares, right? ) and was amazed at how much you can actually take off. The Chaps of the outfit in Archer aren't connected to the skirt. The skirt is not connect to the top, so I take the top and the chaps off Just have a small top and a skirt on, like any American female . That was pretty fun actually.

According the the forums, the beta is back up :cheer:

Not sure about Blue Mage but in an interview many moons ago they did say something about Summoner, but they said it wouldn't work like usual.

You invite a friend over to your house for the afternoon. Describe what your friend would see upon entering your home. I don't see the need for keeping things around that have no use. The walls would be pretty much barren, only with some memorabilia adorning the walls that may or may not be important - you'll never know. There's a large bookshelf in the corner, but it doesn't hold any books. Instead it holds an unorganized amount of papers and notebooks that have been smeared with ink. Don't go look at them.... because I don't want you too. I don't spend a lot of my time here, so there's only basic necessities and I don't house guests longer than one night, usually *Raises an eyebrow*. I spend most of my time on my ship, which has a small cabin that holds a bed and a desk. Really, the only two things I need. During the casual small-talk that ensues, your friend asks you if you have read any good books lately. How do you respond? I recently read a book on the tactical applications of Archers aboard ship vessels. Very interesting and make me take up the bow.... Did you mean fiction? I don't read fiction... I find people are creatively arrogant about their own lives so I don't need too. Just walking into a bar and watching the flock produces enough entertainment for an evening. Your friend eventually leaves, and you're still bored. Restless, you leave the house and set out for a walk. Describe the neighborhood you live in. I do not know by neighbors and there is a good chance I do not care. I don't know what kind of neighborhood I live in, I've never checked. It's a neighborhood that doesn't pry into my personal life, that's all I can ask for. Oh no! An orphan is in trouble! Down the street from where you stand, a small street urchin is being bullied by three larger youths. What do you do about it? Walk over the tell the bullies that picking on someone small and outnumbered does not make them tough, it only makes them idiots. When they have dispersed, give the urchin some gil and tell them that not learning how to fight as an urchin is also idiotic. Oh, a pat on the head for good measure. Adventure time! The next day, still restless, you decide that what you need is a good change of pace. How do you pack for your four-day road trip to Ishgard? I don't, I'll find what I need along the roads and among the drunken males in bars. *Raises an eyebrow* I know what your thinking, but you'd be amazed how little I care. Along your journey, you spot some bandits waiting at a bridge across a wide but slow moving river up ahead of you. They haven't seen you yet. You need to cross the bridge to get to where you're going. How do you handle the situation? There are two ways this can go. I can be patient and flirt my way into the group for protection and needed supplies. Or, which is most likely because I am not patient, pretend I'm going to do the former than proceed to steal everything they are worth and even maybe their lives. You have just arrived for the first time in a new big city. Where do you go first? The docks, if they exist. I find cities not connected to oceans too closed in. No docks, then an Adventurer's Guild for quick excitement, after a bar to observe the locals. For being the 1,000th tourist to the city, you have been given a 6,000 gil voucher to spend as you like at the Ishgard Department Store (think FFXIV version of Macy's). What do you spend it on? I hand it off to the person nearest me, I don't need it. All of that shopping has made you deliriously hungry. What sort of food establishment do you seek out for lunch? One that has food... and beer. Five months later and safely back at home, you realize the Winter Festival is approaching! What sort of present do you pick out for your mother (or nearest living relative, or closest friend)? Presents are a very strange social convention I don't understand, but everyone always tells me that it's something I need to do. I always end up getting people weapons.... I always get funny looks for that...

Honestly, there really isn't THAT much criticism to be had, the main problems are with the UI and the keyboard/mouse functionality. The game is very streamlined, it's somewhat easy to level so it doesn't actually feel like your grinding when you are. The cutscenes are extremely immersive and the story is interesting. We don't get to see a lot of beta, they've only said there's 20% of it available, but what we see if beautiful, fun, and interesting. Like every game, it definitely has it's faults, especially in Beta (Those of you in WoWs beta can remember how craptastic it was compared to release). The game is already HUGE, with lots of areas for good rp sessions. I cant wait to see a dungeon or endgame honestly. It's seeming like it's going to be a really solid game. It's okay to be worried, because when it releases the first thing your gonna do is flip about the UI. Trust me

The mouse controls are laggy as hell too. That needs fixed... I do want to state though that the game is fun, immersive, and huge and they have already said there will be a lot of stuff in release we just don't get to see in Beta. I have a lot of fun on my Archer, even though I've no idea what I'm doing 98% of the time. I also played fisherman, which is really fun but kind of broken. The game is glitchy but by no means unplayable. I already enjoy it more than Aion. In Alpha the Guild Leves were every 4 hours, I THINK they made it 48 in Beta to promote partying and test it out. You'll probably see a big drop in time once release hits.

Trust me I was shocked too. While the latter is actually going in soon, nothing is being said about the former, which is a bigger deal than people think it is. This game is massive, trying to run to get everyone an LS invite is going to be difficult. As the holder of the RPC LS, I pretty much spend the majority of my time trying to find people who want a pearl, and that's just in Limsa Lominsa. Add Three huge cities? It's barely gonna be possible. I'll take ugly guild crests over that pain in the ass anyday.

Crimson Blades Armory is now active. Look at our roster, see our levels. http://lloirekeeper.com/crimsonblades/roster.php

If SE is reading this: 1. Make Guild inviting possible remotely, I do not want to travel the world as a level 1 Archer and pass out pearls because you didn't put in something that simple! 2. /wave /happy /cheer /emote please. 3. Fix your nVidia crap, my computer is bogging down. 4. I love the game but seriously, you act like you've never done this before <,<

There a way to contact the Admins about this guy? I mean, he is ruining it for everyone and I'd rather not move either.
