Faydrel would have an ocean breeze scent about her with a hint of sweet lily of her perfume.

o u o Love your artwork~ If you have the time, I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of Faydrel. She's usually flirty or drunk, so you can have fun with it -
Hmm.... I would think a ship in a bottle for Faydrel.

Final Fantasy moments that make you cry?

The ending of FFX was truly a sad ending. And this song composed by Kate the Great, really brings a tear. AFjx0ldEUCA And so many feels for Vivi... zvfa9DtGZqM -
I tend to go on the detailed side when it comes to role-playing, especially on forum settings. As for instrument, it will most likely be the lyre/harp. And thanks~ I'll most likely be starting out in Gridania as an Archer... though I love'd to start in Limsa. > n <

I plan on going the Bardic route with my little Faydrel, will have to do endless level grinding to achieve this when P4 and early access opens. ; As for talents, Dance/Singing/Musical Accompaniment. I'm not quite sure how I'd go around role-playing this however. Would need a few pointers as I'm still fairly new to this format of rp.

Oh Dezzy, you little rascal. I saw this Linkshell and thought of this song. c5E4W1G2S4I

Oh goody! A fine establishment for Fay to come in and enjoy the shows~ Or perhaps even perform!

Faydrel slipped away from Desmond and moved her way back to the railing of the moving ship, skirting around one of the members of the crew in the process. The young woman leaned lightly against the said railing as she lowered her pack from her shoulders and against her booted feet. "I find that most people have a hard time forgetting about little ole me." She joked lightly with a small added chuckle. She had more than a few people she had swindled in the past that would have liked nothing more than shove her overboard into the deep, dark, drink. As compliments were dished out in her direction the smile never left her lips as she stretched her arms over her head. "You treat the sea well and she'll will treat you well." She commented as her lightly tanned arms hooked behind her neck. "But I suppose I could give you some private lessons, Dezzy." Faydrel teased lightly as she glanced towards the rest of the line of passengers. The male Miqo'te from before had worked some kind of deal, something with the infirmary from what she observed. Her attentions were then torn away from the passenger and captain and back onto the fellow Midlander before her. "Just Fay will do. Lady sounds too proper." She joked aloud, but honestly it was due to the fact it reminded her a little too much of her earlier years within the empire. "And I do not mind my men to be bold, Dezzy." Faydrel continued with that sly smirk still on her lips. "Now are you speaking of my supple skin or of my natural beauty?" She added as her arms unhooked from around her neck and held her lightly tanned arms out. "I've spent most of my sailing experience out on the Sea of Jade, though for the last few months in the north-eastern region." She commented with a slight kick of her pack to show an unstrung bow strapped to the pack to suggest Gridania as a part of recent travels.

Anyone pre-order FF14 from Gamestop?
Hywel Pendragon replied to Aleister's topic in FFXIV Discussion
I frequent my local GameStop a lot and haven't had any issues with them so far. My receipt had the code on it and everything. -
They would probably be the tallest race, if they were added. <3 As for the tails... I am not a 100% sure. It's been a long time since I've played XII. Most of the images I've seen they appear to be tail-less.

WishList of classes/jobs: 1. Thief 2. Red Mage 3. Engineer (Guns and Automaton Companion) 4. Dancer 5. Geomancer

I just enjoy the more feral look about the Viera, more than Miqo'te. They have the lankier limbs with clawed hands and feet. ...but I also like this version with the huge floppy ears too.

I love that artwork. I was just looking up that exact image. He does look quite awesome, fantastic muscle structure.

Isn't that Miyamoto Usagi? I remember his comic and cross-overs with TMNT. xDD

I remember this poll, I had voted for the viera-like race. I've always enjoyed the lore of the viera people and think of them as being very different from the miqo'te. They actually loose a piece of themselves when they leave the Wood and as time goes by their soul's seem to gray, which is evident from the darkening of their ear tips. Despite there being male viera depicted in the lore of the race, SE thought that it would be too 'weird' to possibly have male viera as an option for ARR. Which I think is rather silly, especially since they finally added male miqo'te to the list. Other than having the viera, I wouldn't mind seeing a burmecian/clerian inspired race from FFIX. I've always had a love for Freya. Or perhaps a race inspired by the ronso of FFX.

As the red-headed Hyur spoke out from behind of drunken pirates being easy to run away from Faydrel let out a hearty laugh in response. There had been a few too many times in the past where that statement had been quite true. She clapped her hands together lightly and glanced back to the younger girl with a small wink. "I much rather help them in partaking with that alcohol rather than run from it, sweetie." She spoke with a light humorous tone upon her light pink lips. "Besides, a drunk pirate is often jolly and too content to plunder your loot." She continued lightly with her joking manner before her attentions were turned back onto the male Hyur from the docks. "Aye, the sea runs in my blood. Generation after generation of sailors." Faydrel exaggerated with a small flourish of her hands and a small dip of her chin. She moved away from the line, allowing the pretty red-head to go ahead of her, and skirted around where Desmond was standing with a soft chuckle escaping her at the mentioning of pirates bringing sweets instead of axes. "Oh Dezzy, a pirate would much rather have a bit of fun between the sheets than bring you sweet confections." Faydrel cooed lightly to the man, refusing to allow him the upper hand over her. "And you really ought to pay attention when pretty girls have already introduced themselves, you never know when one will rob you blind. How else will you hunt them down?" She spoke in a slight teasing tone as she nudged the other lightly against his shoulder and another added wink. "Faydrel Lovell, darling. Don't you dare forget it."

Once Faydrel was happy with what she witnessed of both the vessel and crew she strolled over toward the railing of the ship where the other dark haired Hyur was looking at something over the side. Out of mild curiosity she took a gander and noted the other rowboat with two passengers aboard, a large man rowing and little Miqo'te who looked quite miffed about something before attempting to plead for passage aboard their ship. "Well that's not cute." Faydrel mumbled more to herself than towards the man she had heard introduce himself as Desmond. As she leaned upon the railing the exchange of words continued and she watched in amusement as the Miqo'te girl had even threatened the oarsman with the point of her arrow. "Hm, cuter." Faydrel conceded with a small shrug of her shoulders before she finally pushed away from the railing. In a few short moments the Miqo'te found herself aboard the Phoenix Flame and flashing Dezzy a grateful smile. Faydrel immediately resisted the urge to nudge the other Hyur and give some lewd comment, she had already flustered the poor boy earlier she may as well cut him some slack. Instead her attention was focused back onto the Captain and crew as they came alive as everyone moved fluidly across the deck and set the sails. Cerulean eyes only strayed once from the crew and towards the disgruntled Roegadyn on the docks. One last cheap shot towards the man that seemed to throw him into a further frenzy. Honestly she was surprised that the giant hadn't thrown himself into the water and started swimming towards them in his rage. Faydrel offered up a light and playful chuckle as she offered a small wave goodbye towards the docks. A slight sea breeze played across her skin and hair and she absolutely reveled in it. Thank the twelve that they were actually on the move! Faydrel momentarily watched as the others began to get in line in front of the captain, of course it was Desmond first. She was starting to get the feeling he was one of those straight as an arrow sort of men. The nice and law abiding ones. And then he had to go and mention pirates. And suddenly a wave of uneasiness seemed to wash across the other passengers. "Tsk..." She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she neared the line and caught a few snips of conversation. "I'd welcome a good pirate crew. They always have the best alcohol." Faydrel idly mentioned to the rest of the group in line as her eyes wandered over the crew and then back onto those in line. "Not to mention, they're usually fun." She quipped lightly with a shift of her pack at her side. "Now those pirates with the sahagin and their serpent god... not so pleasant." She mused with a slight smirk as she eyed the Miqo'te in the heavy armor a moment before offering a small shrug. "But I'm sure the good captain here knows where to avoid them."

.... I somehow doubt that these characters are going to be going around and stealing from people/organizations and then claiming in all honesty that they are 'Heroes'. (And if they did and my character KNOWS that they are nothing of the like, she'd most likely point it out IC.) As Sienna pointed out about their character, they may do some heroic things but are also ambiguous on their morals and would just call themselves adventurers or something of the like. My own character is very much like this.

It was for a disguise to get out of the city, yes. It was more of joke on my part. =P I agree that I've noticed some characters playing as a more thug character and claiming similarities to Locke which is just wrong. He fits the more 'noble-thief' character, even though he wasn't technically a thief his job-class still was. Though, I could see some thugs with some redeeming qualities about their character. Such as my pirate. She'd lie and blackmail to take your coin, but she does have some standards and her own moral/honor code.

What about when Locke had to steal the clothes from those merchants? xDD Poor guys just minding their own business and BAM... naked and embarrassed. :tonberry:

I suppose you don't count X-2? (wouldn't blame you) Though it was a blatant to be continued... ;;; I don't mind XIII and it's sequels too much. The only that really irked me about the first game was that it was so linear on the story. Didn't give you a whole lot of options that I was used to in the previous games.

Faydrel perked up a bit as the other thanked her and her face fell slightly. "No, no. Don't get the wrong idea, sweetie. I just don't feel like watching you hurl this morn's breakfast." She explained in a teasing tone and brought her arms up and around her knees to bring in her legs against her chest. "They worked for me when I first started sailing. So, cheers." Fay continued with a small half-smile as she watched the young red-head pop the slightly sweet confection into her mouth. She could still remember the first time she had sailed, the constant sway of the ship was unnerving and made her stomach constant somersaults well into the night. Thankfully she'd earned her sea-legs years ago and it was almost unnerving to be on dry-land these days. A short distance later the Phoenix Flame came well into view and it was quite the beauty. Faydrel gave a small whistle as she looked over the curves, size, and the number of sails upon the vessel. As they came up to the side to board the ship with Agile and Salaah were scrambling aboard first. Fay stretched her arms over her head lightly with a small yawn before she swung her legs off the bench and waited for their boat to steady. Once it was their turn to board the Pheonix, Faydrel stood in the rear and swung her bag over her shoulder and shifted the bow at her back. "Not a problem, Cap." She stated with a mock salute and waited for the other two girls climb aboard first before following up the rope ladder behind them with relative ease. Once she was finally deck-side Faydrel wandered the outskirts of the group of fellow passengers and allowed her gaze to travel and take in her surroundings.
