I barely even pay attention to the main story, but after reading your post, you've giving me a bit to think about. I don't know if any of my characters would accept affiliation with "the Waking Sands" as easily since for one, it may apply a lot of pressure. I'm sure Chiyo would eventually but Sinette wouldn't be as eager since she JUST came to Eorzea, and hasn't even fully adjusted to its commons yet. So yeah, I think I'll pretty much disregard the main storyline IC almost entirely as well. MMOs aren't typically known for story anyway.

Well shit. I ended up missing this because of my service account. And it might be a while before I get to play again. I hope at least everyone enjoyed themselves.

Has anyone else been having service account/resignation issues on their end? By this I mean having creating a second service account instead of having your current one registered with all your characters. Here's the issue I am talking about.

I don't know if I can make it in time after all. I'm supposed to have my service account registered at this point but instead, it created a new service account with none of my characters in it. I'm currently trying to fix that...

I didn't even realize Madden was also releasing until I came over to my Gamestop. And apparently, that's what the majority of the other customers had came there for. >_> I bet it's essentially the same game too but with like... one new little feature.

I love how they keep "sincerely apologizing" for the "inconveniences" that may have happened. Really though, just do it, Square. Saying sorry wouldn't bring back the servers, ya know. I'm usually calm about this, and I am, really, but what is the point of early access if I... don't have access? :dodgy:

I'd much prefer it if I keep my current characters. I just don't like the feeling of starting all over. I will however, be willing to transfer them to another sever depending on the cost when it is available. I still don't mind choosing another sever over Gil though. I mean, why were we dead set on it anyway? It's just a server...

I personally wish we rolled at levitation instead since I already have an old friend there.

The problem is, several huge guilds all rolled on that server, along with several online communities. I am not surprised that it's really overpopulated at the moment. I've starting to wonder why we even choose Gilgamesh if so many other groups already claimed it. I can't even log in on my existing character because the servers are "full."

Sinette is already in a FC. Would there be a LS version? Edit: I suck at timezones. What time is that on EST.

Whenever the need. I don't know how I can stay in character almost exclusively like some people here. It depends on the giving circumstance, really.

Here, I will explain how I will be portraying my character, Chiyo Hoshi to give you a hands up on what to except. Chiyo Hoshi is a female miqo'te fighter who was raised by Roegadyn Hellsguards after her mother passed away. She was raised and trained by a monk throughout the years in mostly hand-to-hand combat so she's no stranger to fighting. The reason why here name isn't tibal is because her first name was changed to fit her living accommodations. Chiyo mostly has a tomboyish addition with a good sense of adventure and sport, but also likes to relax once in a while and eats. She usually tries to be kind and respectful, even when fighting, but means will when she does wrong. Chiyo hopes to one day become a great monk like her mentor. She feels that she might have to face a great challenge one day... When it comes to IC combat, Chiyo is no slouch, especially with the martial arts, but like all PCs, she's not perfect. She has a few weakness. While Chiyo is experienced in melee combat, she is magically weak, and is barely a decent conjurer, so a good mage might beat her. A sustained opponent, i.e., someone naturally "tanky" might also prove a match for Chiyo, though she has some sustain techniques of her own such as Second Wind and cure. Though she can block easily, she mainly relies on evasion. Generally speaking, I will basing IC combat based on IC experience as will as loosely the characters' levels, so if your character is significantly higher than her's, and is an experienced fighter, you have a good choice of winning, depending on how you're willing to go things of course. Chiyo isn't a violent person, but it's possible she can get provoked. As far as IC romance is concerned, it is possible for Chiyo to have a significant 'other,' even marriage is possible, for she has a hidden sweet spot that must be triggered somehow. Though she is bisexual, it is much easier for a female to trigger that sweet spot. Reason being, she had a few moments of clarity while bathing with other women. She might even look at a pretty-looking female extensively. It will take a little longer for a male to do that. It's just the way it is.

I hope they fix all this soon, especially the PS3 version, since that's the version I'll be playing. :dodgy:

It worked for me as well. It gave me the PS3 reputation code I needed for downloading it. Seems like SEs doing its job.

From my knowledge, it's from 2:00 PM to 8:00 EST. Rock Sandbourne is the one who's hosting the event though so I'd ask him just to make sure.

Seems like a pretty cool idea, but why is it the same day as the Beach Party Festival in Gilgamesh? Some of us have characters on both servers. .-.

Seems like a cool idea, though my character Chiyo is more-or-less a 'mercenary' if anything. She might just join Arcaedus barely or unofficially.
